CLOUDFARE Security Message
Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.
This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.
Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.
The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

So the Season Final of the show gave a tribute to Dan. No black screen though. Disappointed in that.

<Finally> the season final of the show mentioned Dan's death. We have the show pre-programed to tape; the show we wanted didn't tape. It taped another epi instead. Today, we had to go looking for it, wait out a couple of old Oak Island shows to finally get the epi we didn't get last night. Success!

Hmm, guess I imagined that. With that in mind I'm disappointed that they haven't done anything to acknowledge his death. Hopefully they will do a dedicated in honor episode in the next season.

I am still waiting for some kind of acknowledgement of Dan's death. The last regular show has been televised.

Both my husband and myself watched the whole epi again and neither one of us seen a 'black' screen acknowledging Dan's death.

-
I believe that in a recent episode they did acknowledge Dan's death on a blank screen.

Still waiting for some kind of acknowledgement of Dan's death. (This is for my own reference).

I am a little disappointed that in 2 epi since Dan Blankenship died there has not been any Black screen for a memorial. I know that when Kristoff St. John pass it was only 3 days after there was a Black screen for him. It does not take long to make or to edit in.

In our house, we were hoping that more positive proof before Dan died that something is there; then what we have seen to date.

Sad, but he was old. I did enjoy when they brought him onto the show. He reminded me of my grandfather. Stories to share and knowledge to pass on.

What do you think of this past Sunday them finding ceramic and possible bone 100 plus feet underground?

I just watched a replay of the episode where the group goes to Scotland and visits Roslyn Chapel--(which was a part of the end game in Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code) and saw the carved in stone Trilliums and other tid-bits
which are not native to Scotland or Europe. They are native to Nova Scotia. This is a way of tying the Templars to Nova Scotia. Now I remember why I watch this thing!

There has been an uptick in production values this season. They are not boring us so much with endless backhoe digging and coming up with nothing. I was fascinated with the privateer's descendant and his treasure chest of history.
