Well I watched the first episode with missing the first season and WOW, what a family. I did some research and found this out about the family: (please correct me if I'm wrong)
Ellen Barkin is Mama Smurf Cody and head matriach and has 3 very bad a** sons. Ellen Barkin has aged very well, always liked her.
Scott Speedman aka Boz is Mama Smurf's adopted son and has a daughter named Lena. (Love SS, but he sure is one screwed up man and a terrible father)
Pope Cody is suicidal and I believe from previous glimpses that he murdered a woman and buried her on the beach.
Craig Cody is a "coke" head.
Deran Cody is a closet gay.
There is a 17 year old who came to live with the family after his mother died.
Interesting dynamics to say the very least.............LOL

In the movie that the series is based on, Baz dies. But on the series, it's a real cliffhanger isn't it? They're bringing in Denis Leary, whom I love. He's so good at both comedy/drama. I hope DL's appearance doesn't mean the demise of Baz
