Justin Hartley's "This Is Us" renewed for 2 more seasons!

NBC does not have a deep shelf and have come off of many years of bombs up until the Chicago shows came into play. They probably wanted to ensure fans that they are committed to the show. Parenthood lasted way longer with lesser ratings, on top of the fact that this is the first show to build off the Voice lead in ever. It's basically their Empire -- it's so high that even if it drops it'll be one of their top shows.

The show is okay but way overhyped imo. After seeing the chemistry JH had with MCE, his love storyline on This is Us falls flat... I don't see any chemistry with the two love interests he has on there.

Congrats to Justin and the whole cast and crew at This Is Us! It's a fantastic show, and I think its a smart move by NBC. I'm thrilled to know that I'll have the Pearsons on my TV screen for the next 2 1/2 years at least.

I do agree that JH's best chemistry has been with MCE but since neither Sloane nor Olivia seem like good long term partners for Kevin, I trust they will find the right person for the role when the time is right.

I have tried a few times to watch this show and for some reason I just can not get into it at all. I miss Justin on Y&R but the show he is in just doesn't catch my interest.

I disagree with you, this show is wonderful. It is the best show they have had on in a really long time. He hasn't had a love story just a couple of girl friends. The scene of his face when the Jewish girl was explaining the holiday was priceless. Justin is a wonderful actor.

To each their own. I get hooked on shows really easily and this one just hasn't hooked me yet. I really wanted to love it because I'm a fan of Justin's and Milo's.

Well luckily for This Is Us... the show isn't totally based on Justin's chemistry with one particular character. This Is Us is about an ensemble cast. In fact, I tuned into This Is Us for Justin but his character is my least favorite.
The chemistry between the family is what makes This Is Us work - not any chemistry between Justin's Kevin and a fling.
