Anybody watching? Apparently it was Korean sci-fi action film of 2013 and French graphic novels. I may go back and see the film.

The premise: the planet has frozen and the only survivors are the passengers on a self-sustaining luxury train built to withstand the extreme cold—and all use the class divide between the first class passengers and the stowaways at the rear of the train as a plot engine.

I tuned in for Jennifer Connelly but I don't buy the premise that these stowaways aren't simply killed off. I don't see them living in those quarters for 7 years. They'd be emaciated and dropping like flies.

The one former detective is sought out for a murder in 3rd class. Why not 1st class? If there had been previous "insurrections," one murder is nothing compared to the slaughter in the rear.

I have a week to decide to tune in again!

I'm really kind of disappointed. I was coming here to write how much I was enjoying it and it was tense and entertaining. But, I thought the tail was looking for respect and to be able to have "one train". I enjoy a well-deserved mutiny and I liked that they were holding Melanie in preparation for her execution. BUT, I do not understand why the tail went on a bloody rampage where their objective was to overturn the ship but their own were killed and injured. How can they expect no retaliation? I would like to have seen the 2 sides coming together in some equitable way.

Really good finale. After picking up a radio signal which was getting closer to find out it's maybe Mr. Wilford on the prototype supplies train. It latched on to Snowpiercer and everybody was to come together to greet/defend their train. Melanie was attempting to disengage their caboose and before the train stopped she was thrown off into the snow with her spacesuit on. Ruth was chipper thinking she was going to meet her maker but then who exits? Alexandra: Melanie's assumed dead daughter.

Will Melanie get back on the train and meet her daughter? Who else is on that train? Tune in next year for Season 2 of SNOWPIERCER!

Snowpiercer Season 2, next Monday 9pm TNT. This show you have to suspend your disbelief's disbelief but I can do that for the thrill of it.

Didn't know about this show until recently. As you stated you want to see 1 train but i don't think that's going to happen.Melanie has proof the earth is warming. That Mr.Wilford is up to something i haven't figure it out yet.

This show is so good, I can only concentrate on watching especially with all the accents.

After having watched the movie I didn't tune in 4 the tv show!


IDK, about the tv show but the movie was 2 "class" warfare" 4 me.

And, 2 dark!

I hadn't seen the movie and then went back and didn't like it as much, probably because I like the leads.

It wasn't until the 8th episode of season 1 that I got hooked on this series, friends kindly ordered me to at least finish the season to see the potential, and it does. Never seen the movie.

Nice. As you can see from my earlier post I didn't like it at first. Keep me posted as to where you're at and I'll try not to spoil it for you. Jennifer Connelly brings it. I've been a fan of hers since The Rocketeer. Did you watch The Americans? Alison Wright was soo good and she's great here as Ruth as well.

I made up for all late episodes. So up to date.

I knew I knew Alison Wright, but I can't remember where. I really liked "The americans".
Jennifer Connelly it's true she is incredible, I knew the actress in the movie "Requiem for a dream" with Jared Leto
Very good cast of this series.

That movie rocked my world! I spent my first 9 months in Coney Island, then worked on the beach for many summers. The winters as well as the downtrodden locale was depicted accurately. She, Ellen Burstyn and Marlon Wayans were amazing.

It always looks like there's sun peeking through out there.

Ugh, that prefab jell.

Andre asks Ruth what she's willing to do for Snowpiercer and Melanie. They break out of the bowels.

Daddy dearest isn't going to be happy.

Ruth got a taste of slaughter. And discovers a ginormous bathtub!

Robotic arms for those whose were cut off in the hole.

Javi and Ben are managing the engines and the tail is managing the getting Melanie. Ben's getting his bum kicked but they made the turn.

Neverwracking! Bring in the dogs! Javi takes a beating. Javi is dog meat. Alex should take Wilfred out. She slashed him!

Andre has a plan and Zara and baby stay behind.

Josie is sent thru the hatch. It's all frozen hands on deck.

Ruth and the Teal wins!

Andre and an axe...........and Audrey. Wilfred relents...

Josie pickaxes the aquarium car. Big Alice isn't so big anymore. Buy bye!

Alex and Andre go out and, "It's just like Chicago." Lol.

According to the diary Melanie left, she expects Alex to carry on in her name.

"Let's get our train back."

Sounds great haven't watch the last 2 episodes yet,just know i going to love it

Good season, great comeback, and for a comeback it's huge when she betrays everyone, but maybe she's right.
