Chicago PD QUESTION

I started watching this week's episode which I had recorded. This is only the 2nd episode of the season and my On Demand says it's # 3 of #3 of a crossover with Med & Fire. It's almost as if an episode is missing - unless the beginning of the crossover was last season which is all I can think of. I didn't think so since the ending of last season was about Olinsky. Can anyone give me any info.

Last night all three shows went together, so you had to watch Fire, then Med, then PD. I think part of the PD stuff with Will and the brothers dad was a carry over, but I don’t remember how long ago it was. I remember the dad being sick before though.

I had to record all 3 shows. There supposed to be tied in together.
i haven’t watched yet, but the fire was first, then medical ,and our PD last.

Thanks for your responses. Chicago Fire has changed nights so is on a couple of days AFTER PD which is so annoying. No wonder I was confused.
