CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    So do I, PeneP! The "Stephen Hunter Bob Lee Swagger" book series is even better. They are outstanding reads, packed w/action! From the previews, it appears this season's plot is taken from his book, "Black Light" which involves solving the mystery surrounding his law enforcement father's death that occurred during Bob Lee's childhood. Should be good!

      It's always good to hear another person's perspective on how series follow the written word. Love Ryan Philippe and had just watched Lincoln Lawyer (one of my favourite movies) where Ryan is one bad guy!!

        Agree, PeneP. Ryan P makes one scary bad guy when he plays one. Lincoln Lawyer's a good movie; and Matthew M also does a good job playing a lawyer who's just this side of shady

          I think Matthew M has made very good choices in the movies that he makes. I've watched Lincoln Lawyer a few times and it never gets stale. I do like Ryan P in Shooter

            I just watched the season finale of Shooter .....wasn't expecting one event. The finale was well done all around.

              Wow! That finale was edge-of-your-seat! I didn't know the series was being cancelled! And dang--why'd Red kill Julie? That was evil. After everything the Swaggers'd been through, their family deserved some R&R.

              I couldn't believe my ears when Red (after Bob Lee tracked him down) actually suggested the possibility of talking Bob Lee out of retribution Yeah, that'd be a "NO!!!!" Consider it justice for Julie and on behalf of the American people for treason!

                Sad to hear that the series is cancelled Soapfan54, they did the series proud IMO. Killing Julie was unexpected but considering Red, he was capable of doing everything including killing his own son.

                  Me too, PeneP. It was such a relevant show, imo. LOVED seeing "the ol' boys in the backroom" (the policymakers) getting their literal azzes kicked by the "constituency!!" I read they're hoping another network will pick the show up, but I honestly don't know where the show could go from where it left off I guess some sort of spin-off?

                    Maybe Netflix will pick it up Soapfan54, they did pick up Lucifer which was cancelled.

                      That'd be great for the actors. But if the show is discontinued, they did a good job wrapping it up. There are still Stephen Hunter's books, which are as vivid as any movie. I literally cannot put one down once I've began reading it! :-))
