CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

I've been wanting this for YEARS. ETA: if it's not going to be about grown-up Krystina, Lauren, LB and Danny, I don't see the point.

DYNASTY gets a reboot on the CW

from what i've gathered from talking to connected to the cw/cbs, they considr the orignal dynasty to have died with the eunion, they were never hoing to do a continuation ever, it was never on the table, so the shapiros had to settle for a reboot with the demands of the CW, and CBS, Shwartz, and Silbering know what the CW wants, and it was their job to convert the IP into something compliant with the CW/

I like it a lot, actually. It's interesting how they've made the characters quite faithful to the original. Fallon is b!tchier in this version, but she's not evil. Of course, the actress pales compares to Pamela Sue Martin, but she's still doing a good job. I also love how Cristal is Latina and closer in age to Fallon, and that they're competing not just to be Blake's favorite, but also in business. Steven is fabulous and the actor really is incredible. Making Jeff Colby and Michael Culhane African-American was also an inspired choice. Making Sammy Jo Cristal's NEPHEW instead of her niece was also inspired. A lot of the series follows the original first season but with the occasional twist, for example Matthew Blaisdel was murdered in the first episode, and in a pretty gruesome manner. Claudia did not take his death well and Blake accidentally ran her down with his car in the last episode, so guess who'll be moving into the Carrington mansion to recover?!? Joseph Anders is still the majordomo who's loyal to Blake. The series takes place in Atlanta, but Fallon spoke about her mother Alexis, whom she hasn't seen in years but apparently moved to Denver years ago! I mean, the Easter eggs in this series are a lot of fun. And Ted Dinard just showed up in the last episode, which can only mean big trouble!

If you were a fan of the original series, you really should give this reboot a chance.
