Messages purged?

I noticed that in the Y&R forum, every thread I have posted on (there have only been a few) is now gone. In fact every thread started longer than a week ago appears to be gone. Was there a recent purge of messages from the forum?

I'm not sure of the time frame but if a thread hasn't been posted in, in say, a weeks time they scroll off the board. Don't quote me on the time frame though because now that I told you it might be a week it could turn out to be a few days! Dan used to ''purge'' the board once a week to keep things fresh so to speak and dead threads would then be cleared, but Y&R has a ton of new threads started daily and if there is a limit of how many pages of backlog is kept on the board a thread started say 2 or 3 days ago might scroll off fairly quickly. Ah, I see. In most other forums I use, the threads sit around for much longer than that. It's just that I posted something Sunday night and when I thought to check on the thread today, it was gone.

Here is the link to the last post you posted in a thread, its the only other one you have besides these two - is this the one you mean? You have no other posted messages shown in your profile. could be you were looking for a thread that had scrolled to the last page and just missed it.

Sometimes threads are merged, so they may not have the same title any longer. You can search your own posts through your profile to find your comments and begun threads, or you can look for a green arrow next to thread titles, to see if you've posted in that thread. If the threads that have disappeared are threads that you started, then you need to contact your board moderator to find out if they were removed for inadvertent rule violations.

I have tried searching my posts, but I cannot find any post before December 2nd of this year. :-/

Can anyone help? I have used advanced search, etc. All of my posts were made in the YR forum.

Our boards are set to automatically scroll away threads that haven't been posted in for X amount of days. Posts in old threads haven't been deleted, they just scrolled away with the threads
