    Candy on Hulu

Story: Texas, 1980. Candy Montgomery leads a dream life. She has a loving husband, a good job, a daughter and a son, a nice house so why did she kill her friend, Betty Gore, with an axe?
    Based on a true story.
Cast: Jessica Biel (The Sinner), Melanie Lynskey (Mrs America), Raul Esparza (Law & Order: Special Victim)

I saw the 1st episode, very interesting, the miniseries will have 5 episodes

I have watched two episodes. Pablo Schreiber is an amazing actor but his performance so far is not up to par. I did google him and after his relationship with Candy turns into a full blown affair, his acting really shines. Jessica Biel, is quite the spitfire as Candy. So, from the first episode, we know that Betty is found dead and Candy is the murderer. Did Candy really stop by Betty’s house to pick up a bathing suit or to confront her after Allan ended the affair? Sad story.

After the 2nd episode, I wonder if Candy didn't just want to defend herself against Betty.

Betty, is a sympathetic character. She is practically a single mother with her husband’s career being his first priority and then there’s Candy. Allan ignored Betty and their two little girls. For some strange reason, Candy desperately wanted him. This series received pretty good ratings but I found the husbands boring as hell. Candy as a child was shushed by an adult that traumatized her and her encounter with Betty, she was once shushed again that send her into a rage and the outcome was brutal. Sad story for those little girls.

I have one episode left to finish, now that I've seen more episodes, you're right, I blame both husbands for what happened, yes husbands are boring, wives are more interesting.

Good series, the end did not surprise me, I did not know this story, but I suspected the end.
Even if I find it hard to believe what Candy said, what she says is plausible, it could have happened like that, even if once again I find it hard to believe it.

The two husbands are idiots, the 1st remarried immediately after Betty's death, and even defends Candy in court.
Candy's husband, so he, his wife kills someone he defended her in front of everyone, she cheats on him and is angry, I thought killing someone was worse.

I read that Justin Timberlake made an appearance in one of the episodes. I read this after I watched the series. Didn’t see him.

Two episodes, it was the sheriff, episode 4 and 5 it even had an interrogation scene between the sheriff and Candy, the look that was changed from Justin Timberlake is very different
