The first couple of episodes were a little too saccharine for my taste, but I like all 3 actresses, so continued to watch. It did get bette, and with the ending, and Isaac's mother story, I hope we get another season.

And for All My Children fans, young Jamie Martin grew up very well!!

I tried, I was totally bored so I stopped after 5 episodes, yet I love series of the genre (Everwood, Chesapeake shore, Virgin river) but I didn't manage to get into their stories.

Decided to watch it at the recommendation of a friend. So glad I did. Enjoying the stories and the characters.

Is anyone else watching thinking "hmmm, Reba had a similar storyline. Dentist dad knocks up assistant, engaged, shacks up, kids feel neglected and acting out, jealous when sees ex-wife out with other guys". Helps that Joanna Garcia is on both shows.

Season 2 will premiere Feb 4th.

Renewed for season 3. Hopefully it is less 'preachy' than season 2!
