Summer was way too soft on Audra. This woman seduced her husband, slept with him several times and this is all she
had to say to her! I would have ripped her apart. Yes, I know Kyle is just as guilty, but this was woman to woman.
For example, when Summer told Audra her perfume was cheap, she should have added, “just like you.”

I was expecting much more from Summer — the “old” Summer would have handled this differently.

I always hate when the a woman puts more blame on The Other Woman than the person she is married to. I do wish she was a lot harder on Kyle though. Kyle wasn't seduced. He wanted to hurt Summer as bad as he (perceived) Summer hurt him.

I would love for her to file for divorce first. I do agree with you that Summer needs to channel her inner Phyllis/ Grandpa Victor! Just direct it more towards Kyle than Audra.

Summer is in pain right now. Deep emotional pain. She does not have to be your favorite character; however, she is the one hurting badly now. There is not one thing wrong with her confronting Audra. Audra deserved it, because she willingly went to bed with Kyle while he was still married to Summer. That is simply wrong. No debate, regardless of what Summer did as it applies to Phyllis. Summer did not cheat with another man. Kyle cheated with another woman.

Summer did attempt to work it out with Kyle, at the end, but he would not hear it. Would not even consider it. He is not in any emotional pain, because he has put a Band-Aid on his own angst. He does not feel lost, abandoned, or rejected. Summer does.

The bottom line is that Audra was very cruel. Vindictive. Malicious. She twisted the knife in Summer's back, and she got off on it. That is sick. It is sadistic. Audra should not be lording it over Summer that she is sleeping with Kyle. But she has no class, to do what she did. It was disgusting.

Rubythroat1 . . . Not sure if your comment is directed at me, but assuming it is, I don't mean to imply that I hate Phyllis, or Diane, or both. For the purposes of what has happened with Summer's marriage, I mean simply that if Phyllis had not done what she did in faking her death, Summer's conflict with protecting her mother from going to prison would not have happened. However, as I have posted elsewhere, Phyllis did what she did ultimately because of what Diane did all those years ago. These events can be seen as a "chain reaction" since they are all related. But I don't have a horse in either race. I understand why Phyllis did what she did. But it was out-of-character, because I don't think she would ever have hurt her children by faking her death. Not if written to true-to-character. As for the tit-for-tat in all this, yes, it does get tiresome. It was not my intent to engage in that. Or to bash Phyllis.

Summer is the victim here and NOT Kyle or the snake he’s cheating with ,Audra as both are more than deserving of the hate and disgust they got from Summer , and what’s to come for many more Newman’s and other people in town once the affair is revealed! I really hope these two fools Audra and Kyle are up for the fallout once they are no longer flying high on their so called Neman Media high and don’t try to call Summer or her family vindictive once they pay for their indiscretions as they will be getting exactly what they asked for in the end. But what Kyle did has been a gigantic overblown hysterical reaction. Way out of proportion to Summer's actions. The bottom line is that Summer should not even waste her time on Kyle anymore.
