Will Nick not being w/ Sally in crisis break up the relationship? I don't fault Nick at all. His daughter Faith was in danger. But the aftermath of the baby dying, I think, will be that Sally will gravitate to Adam. I'm ok with that because the repetitive scenes of Adam and Nick butting horns over Sally were tedious.

I think Sally will blame both. She is devastated because there is no longer a cement baby that she didn't want in the first place. No baby, no more attention from two brothers.

Sally "never" said she didn't want her baby. It's normal for an unexpected pregnancy to cause a shock. It took her some getting used to. She never once mentioned contemplating terminating her pregnancy. The two men who slept with her didn't use birth control either. The pregnancy was equally their responsibilities. It's equally on them that they both slept with her it's not all on Sally. I believe they said she forgot to take a pill which happens in real life. She also felt ill most of her pregnancy. It's terrible that the writers wrote her a pregnancy and then did this to fans of Adam and Sally.
-
-
Of course she never said she didn't want it. But shock? That's a little questionable since she was sexually active on a regular basis and with two men no less, so big shock that you become pregnant when you know full well you did not use birth control. This has nothing to do with the irresponsible men either. It didn't seem to bother either of them that she was pregnant. I'm talking about Sally. It was only recently that she took a job with Lily and was miffed because she may not be able to be as active in the job and then rolled her eyes when Lily suggested that a baby may be somewhat in the way of her advancing in her career. It's a done deal now and as terrible as it is to lose a child, clearly this one was not planned and it did nothing but cause havoc in the lives of two men, not to mention herself and why? Because she, and even those guys, were too interested in sex to have enough brains to be responsible while Sally was relishing in the attention, Nick was the main big man getting all the sex and Adam was the loser in the whole thing right from when she had sex with him when the child was conceived and then she kicked him to the curb. Sorry, no pity from me.
-
-
Clearly Sally wanted her baby. As evidenced by her reaction to her baby dying. Plenty of women get pregnant in real life even when on birth control. As for the term cement baby, Sally hasn't taken money to get ahead from Bill Spencer, Foresters, Victor Newman or any Newman for that matter. Sally is a hard worker who doesn't take handouts. She isn't any cheaper than the two men who love her. Sally Spectra is not a gold digger.

This is a clear path back to Adam and Sally. If it wasn’t, they never would have bothered with Adam being the one to make the call.
If the writers put in the effort and write an actual story that brings Adam and Sally back together, it could be really good. It won’t be easy because a lot of damage has been done, but I’m choosing to remain optimistic.

You could be right but it could also turn out to be the exact opposite causing Adam to run from her and never look back. I think then the writers would be wise to NOT leave any remnants of this storyline hanging around and just completely start over with a clean slate, including her involvement with Nick.

Elena told Sally that she would be on a hormonal roller coaster ride (I'm paraphrasing) for some time. For how long? IDK. IMO I translate this to mean that Sally gives Adam hell for a while and will be upset with Nick until he spoons her. If Nick prevents them from grieving together, I will get sick. Respect your bro, Nick!
Let's see how long Nick stays away from Sharon and how Sally deals with that. Nick, Sharon and Faith need time to heal from near death. And so do Sally. Adam, and Conner. from the baby's death. I do think Sally will migrate back to Adam once her hormones stabilize. I hope she sees the suffering he went thru and forgives him.
Her lifespan w/Nick is not permanent. I can't see Nick being faithful and long tern w/her or anyone for that matter!
I don't see marriage in Nick's future, but I do in Adam's...with Sally.
What a mess.Last edited by soapyhands; June 17, 2023, 01:06 AM.

Michael Fairman did an interview with actors, Linden Ashby and Sharon Case (Cameron Kirsten/Linden Ashby), it is a video interview. In the video, I believe the actress, SC, said, there is no reunion for Shick. It sounds like it was meant to be short story just to bring back Cameron Kirsten and to give some air time to Sharon Case and so a reunion storyline was meant for them (that is both actors and i totally enjoyed the acting chops of both, Linden Ashby and SC and because it was action thriller type, too and fast pace.

In order for the Victoria/Adam rivalry to ramp up, Elena will be Adam's new lover shortly, opposite Victoria's man Nate. This is the future.
Sally will be with Nick for now. Sharon and Chance are still building their relationship. It's a slow burn.

catster .. yes I think you are right and it’ll be Summer that Chance starts to spend more time with and not Sharon since it’s pretty clear those two have been in the FRIEND zone for awhile now and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It kills me that a few people like to try to imply there’s some huge age difference between Summer and Chance like he’s so much older or mature than her when he actually is closer in age to Summer than he is Sharon… if anyone will be taking someone out for ice cream like a doting parent it would be Sharon treating Chance since he’s almost the same age as her oldest son Noah and I believe younger or the same age as her oldest Cassie/ Mariah. Imo Sharon and Chance aren’t a slow burn at all… more like a cold shower if anything… absolutely nothing there between those two other than bonding over Rey at this point really .. I see a friendship and nothing more.
Now I think Adam and Elena could work the same way Summer and Chance could as well.. complete opposites always seem to attract and although Chance isn’t squeaky clean he does try to always do the right thing much like Elena where as Summer and her uncle Adam have both been known to do undermined things to get what they want .. I prefer to see some spark between potential couples and imo when Chance/Summer and Elena/Adam are in scenes together no matter how brief that natural chemistry comes out in spades.

I don't see Chance and Sharon at all. I do think Summer and Chance will take a turn.. who knows if it will be a love match.. there really isn't anyone else for Summer..
I do not think Nick and Sally are over whatsoever.. I think JM has some kind of power and he wants Nick to have Sally.. Adam is always the sad man out.. he is a loser on this show and the current writing team loves him losing time and time again.

Sharon has been with much younger guys before. She was very happy and enjoying love with Scotty, who looks similar to Chance, so we know Sharon has a type. And when these young studs keep choosing to spend their free time with her, it leads to the horizontal mambo on the floor at Sharon's place.

I hope that Sally being angry and lashing out at Adam is very temporary. She has to realize the horrible position he was put in and that the tremendous loss is his loss as much as hers. Can’t handle anymore of Adam blame on the show to begin with by so many characters. But the pain he’s in now should only bring compassion and comfort to him by others. Maybe even Princess Victoria.

I have empathy for the Adam character. I hope Sally doesn't turn on him. I also hope Nick slowly turns away from her. Two brothers fighting over the same woman is old and tiresome especially those two brothers. I don't think Connor will care, he'll probably give that satisfied little smirk and whine about something else. Victoria has no heart or soul so I expect zero sympathy from her.
-
-
I think Nick will take her lash too and I think Nick will be supportive of Adam I hope her backlash causes both to just stay away from her, become close with each other and move on to a new life without her. Let her do whatever it is she needs to do by herself.
-
-
I think once people hear about what and how things happened they will understand Adam's choice. Sally will be the only one angry with him for once. Even Billy and Chloe can understand the difficulty of the dilemma.

I don't care who blames who. I just want Sally gone. Just the sight of her cheap tawdry self makes me want to turn off the TV. Please please let Adam move on and send her to LA or anywhere out of Genoa City but please not to Port Charles. Just get her gone.

Adam and Sally will mourn the loss of their baby and will naturally gravitate toward each other, as they are meant to be together. Nick and Sharon will be dealing with the fallout of Cameron’s foolishness and making sure Faith is ok..they are soulmates. All is heading toward their eventual reconciliation.

Nick will not dump on Adam. Why must Adam always be a victim?

There is a video interview with Michael Fairman and he did an interview with actors, Linden Ashby and Sharon Case, and in it, SC, I believe stated that there is no reunion for Shick. The interview was about characters, Cameron and Sharon, and how much it was enjoyed and the return of Cameron Kirsten and the reunion storyline was only about Cameron and Sharon even though it was horrific, but both actors really enjoyed working together again (I really enjoyed both actors, too, in the return of Cameron Kirsten and I never thought that there was going to be a Shick reunion, too. I know there are still hopeful fans out there, but after so many years of teasing and never legitimately back together, it is finally been hammered in that it will never happen. So, I turned in my fan card for Shick a very long time ago. I think it happened when Sharon and Dylan MaCovoy became a couple, they married for a year at Christmas (2015) and were married to at least Jan/Feb, give or take of 2017, when Dylan had to go underground because of the Mafia and Paul Williams, his bio father and also a cop, helped Dylan go underground and so Dylan had to leave Sharon behind (and she still had to raise still tiny little girl, Faith, and it was devastating, the scenes when Dylan left and said goodbye to Sharon and he walked out the door, into the headlights of the awaiting police car with his father, Paul in it, one of the best EXit s/l, too (for Dylan MacCovoy). So, I became a Huge Fan of Shylan (Sharon and Dylan) myself and to this day (that's when I bascially gave up on Shick back then and this day. Dylan, was far better for Sharon, the characters and it was such a romantic storyline for these two also when he stepped up to help Sharon find evidence of the tire iron when she became a suspect in the whole cabin murder mystery s/l and Dylan, the cop, stepped up to help Sharon tremendously (Nick called Sharon a murderer back then, and, I think that's when I finally was totally turned off) and it took Dylan to help Sharon so many times, Dylan was a war vet from Afganistan and he had a mental disorder, PTSD, so he understood and had way more empthy for Sharon at the time (she was diagnosed with bipolar) and after Sharon not having no friends and family to support her, Dylan was the only one on her side, too, while everyone was calling her names such as Nikki, Victor, and extended family. Different regimes wrote so much negatitive scenarios for the Sharon character back then (2009 to 2012) and it continued with another regime (2013 to 2016) and in all of this, I found Dylan, as a hero who stepped in for Sharon, and will always remember it, too.

Our Friday show was interrupted for breaking news just as Elena told Adam he had to make a choice! First: I know laws are meant to be ignored on these shows but how and when did Adam become the decision-maker?
And now please… fill me in on what happened next! I’m gathering the baby is gone but I didn’t hear or see what happened.
One more quibble: Adam was trying to comfort Sally earlier in the show about the baby being born as a summer baby. IT IS almost summer and Sally’s belly was as flat as a pancake! We should all look so excruciatingly thin in our last weeks of pregnancy!

Summer is not officially over until Sept 21. It was explained by Elena in the last episode that only a few of us got because of interruptions that Adam became the decision maker because there was not enough time for them to try to locate and contact any of her family but still, I think then it should have been the doctor's decision after that, not Adam's and all stupid anyways because naturally you would save the mother ahead of an unborn baby who in all likely hood may not have survived anyways.

I don't think Nick not being there for Sally during her baby crisis will break them up.... in fact, I think it might make them closer for a short time until Sally gets tired of Nick spending more time with Sharon and Faith making sure they are safe and okay as he should. I think it will be hard for Nick to focus too much on Sally after what he went through with Cameron and pain he caused to Sharon and Faith....I think it really did a number on Nick....

His reaction to Sharon killing Cameron was a site to see. Not sure if it was "Did I just see Sharon kill Cameron?" or "OK Sharon is a lot stronger than I ever thought possible." Maybe both. But I had the same reaction so...
-
-
Nick sure looked shocked out of his mind to see Sharon not even hesitate when she stabbed Cameron!
Nick was probably feeling both of the reactions you described in your comment. Nick knows how it feels to kill a person so may be he's also worried for Sharon since she took a life! I don't remember if Sharon ever killed anyone....

Nick and Sally aren't breaking up. JM and CH did a joint interview, and JM plainly said that he wants Sally and Nick to be a couple WITHOUT Adam being apart of their story. This was about a month ago. That told me everything I needed to know.

Do I ever agree.. and JM seems to get what JM knows.. I would say he knows something he shouldn't.. Sally and Nick will grow closer is my guess.
The interview was creepy.. JM calling CH a chick.. wth where has be been the year is 2023 not 1953.. I found the interview to be horrible for JM.. he did not look good and CH I felt sorry for.. you can tell she wants her character with AdamLast edited by catster; June 19, 2023, 06:24 AM.

I never saw the interview at all but from some of the comments on here....are you saying creepy meaning "creepy" like someone who would be personally interested and too invested in the actress? I don't know what other way to put it without my comment being knocked off the board. i mean this guy is a married man is he not?
-
-
I read the interview catster is referring to and both JM & CH seemed excited about the pairing and wanting Sally/Nick to have a real chance free from the triangle. She's posted BTS videos of them so clearly she doesn't feel trapped or uncomfortable as being implied here. I think CH & MG's real life relationship & breakup might have more influence on the story goes than anything else. If true then it's really unfair to blame JM. We can't possibly know.
