    Consequences for Phyllis?

I expect that when Phyllis reappears in GC, she'll blame everything — including her faked death — on Stark. How his death will be handled ... if it's handled ... I don't know. Maybe Phyllis was successful at hiding his body and Stark will just be considered to have taken off. Or maybe Phyllis will have some story to explain his death.

We all know Chance is a crackerjack cop so we'll see how that turns out.

Will Phyllis be in the clear, though? Diane will get out of jail, but I think she and Jack will be on a warpath to prove Phyllis worked with Stark to frame Diane. Time will tell if Phyllis gets away with everything or if there will be consequences.

I do want there to be some consequence for Jack having broken into the Newman's Chicago condo and stolen Nikki's necklace to frame Stark. I'm afraid, though, that that ship has sailed and Jack will never be charged.

It will be interesting how she fills in the blanks as to how she explains what happened. Is she going to say that she only said Diane poisoned her because Stark made her?

Did Stark make her marry him and give her half his money? Why didn’t she go to the police.

I am so tired reading about what Jack did, I wish Jack were to just confess to Christine, Chance, Nikki and Victor and tell them he willingly set Stark up for the stolen necklace, and they can do as they wish. I doubt Christine will try to prosecute since Nikki decided not to press charges and the DA decided to drop the charges against Stark. I doubt Nikki would change her mind, she got her necklace back and she’s mad at Diane not Jack, she’ll just tell Jack he shouldn’t be with Diane. I wish Jack just confess, he won’t go to jail, he’ll probably get community service, and pay restitution for a false investigation but he won’t have to pay for the necklace because it was immediately returned. Now, what Phyllis has done can’t compare to what Jack did. However, I don’t think her consequences will last long. Everybody will be upset with her for a nanosecond then they’ll immediately forgive her.

Yes to this... It would be nice if she would actually take responsibility for her horrible deplorable actions . But i seriously doubt it

The only consequences Phyllis needs to face is the scorn and disgust by GC residents. And her children.

Frankly Jack has no business being on the warpath because he is engaged to marry a woman who did the exact same thing.

Jack is not on the war path for that He forgave her and so did thier son . He is on the warpath because she was framed and is in prison facing a 20 to 30 years for something she didn't do . And we all know she didn't do it . Because the body is walking around and causing all this havoc in his life . I hope Jack never ever for give Phyllis ever again ! And if Summer keeps her secret and keeps Diane in jail well then shame on her to !

It seems to me all GC forgave Phyllis and others for their terrible crimes so why is Diane any different, it’s not like she killed anyone. So sick of hearing how bad Diane is when she didn’t do half the things Phyllis and Victor have done.

It is likely SOMETHING along these lines will happen. And Phyllis will suddenly be "redeemed." At least in the eyes of the writers. As for many viewers, that will go over like a cement balloon.

I have more empathy for Pyllis's children than i do for Phyllis. Phyllis clearly knew that if Diane were to go to prison for murdering her, that she (Phyllis) would have to disappear "forever". That is the only way Diane would stay in prison for murdering her. I don't think Phyllis really thought this out, that she would be out of the lives of Daniel & Summer. Not to mention all the pain she (Phyllis) would cause them. Did Phyllis actually think that Starke would just let her walk away or did she think she would frame Starke? And that is how the cops will see this, that Phyllis thought she could frame Starke. The better plan for Phyllis & Starke may have been for Starke to fake his death/murder and frame Diane.

I think there will be consequences for Phyllis actions! Just because Diane faked her death, came back to GC and was forgiven by Kyle, Jack and Michael doesn't mean you get a pass for doing the same thing! I hated it when it came to light that Diane faked her own death and left a grieving little boy behind for so many years to try and move on without his mother who he was very close to. I I absolutely hated that Phyllis actually went along with a stupid plan to fake her own death knowing what that did to Kyle! Phyllis was there and saw what that did to Kyle.... why would she put her own children through that same pain! It's so wrong! This alone makes me truly hate this story.

Exactly! Diane did not "steal" Phyllis's life! Phyllis lost it all on her own. Diane wasn't actively trying to break up Jack & Phyllis; she just wanted his forgiveness. Jack chose to break up with Phyllis. Diane didn't steal Summer away from Phyllis; she naturally wanted to be included in Kyle's family & he decided to let her in. Diane didn't steal Phyllis's job; Phyllis made the decision to sell her hotel & go to work for Marchetti with the express desire to make trouble for Diane. Everything that has happened to Phyllis since Diane returned to town rests solely on Phyllis's shoulders. Diane is certainly no saint, but she's not evil incarnate either.

Phyllis herself said " what have I done?" to Stark when he got frantic over her going back to GC for her children. She has admitted she was wrong to take his plot
seriously. All she cares about is Summer and Daniel, who are both suffering. If she wants to regain her relationship with her children, she will have to make things right. Jack and Diane should be grateful Stark is dead. Diane will get out of prison. What more do they want ?

Not seeing consequences for Phyllis. Well, at least for now. Who knows what the writers will come up with. Like was previously said, Stark is dead, so she can say anything and not have to prove it. Now, of course the writers could come up with a twist where Stark documented everything, put it in a safe and it's discovered.

Knowing JG's writing ,Phyllis will get shunned, jailed, nailed to a cross and Diane will gleefully smirk in her face. Diane will win, win , win as usual.* Hand me the puke pail*
