CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    What does a COO do?

Nate and Devon don't agree on Nate's COO role at Chancellor-Winters. Devon believes Nate's job is to support Devon's vision and plans. Nate believes he is is supposed to come up with new project ideas. So I went online and found this Chief Operating Officer job description:

"The COO – sometimes known as the vice president of operations – is typically the second in command in a company and reports to the CEO. This person manages and handles the daily business operations of the company, working closely with department heads and supervisors to support the day-to-day activity of employees."

That doesn't sound to me like developing new projects. Nate needs to back down and learn.

Thanks for the description. Someone needs to read it to Nate. He acts like the company is failing and needs all his ideas as if he knows all about business.
They have really changed Nate's character.

I think at least part of Nate’s issue is that Lily and Devon fawned all over him to convince him to join the company. They told him how smart he is and how valuable he would be and on and on. So Nate thought his input and brains etc would be welcome, not have ideas shut down, especially so soon.

I think someone needs to read this to the writers so THEY know what a COO does.
