    Nikki’s Speech to Victoria Today

Nikki’s speech was spot on. Predators will become someone prey Bobby DeFranco was a lifelong predator who finally got what is coming to him.

And great performances by both actors MTS (Nikki) and AH (Victoria).

I enjoyed the conversation. Nikki was spot on. Victoria needs therapy. She knows she chooses the wrong men but I think her bigger problem is her stubborn nature. Victoria needs to find out why, given the warnings, she ignores the information. Is it because the warnings came from her family and she feels like she is being told how to feel? Whatever it is, she needs to change the pattern or it will happen again.

Both characters are so annoying and unlikeable for me I tend to FF both of them so I'll take your word for it.

I really enjoyed the scenes. Nikki was spot on and I loved Victoria realizing the type of man she is drawn to and questioning why and even questioning if she went too far in her revenge on Ashland. I would love to see her go into therapy and explore why she is drawn to men like this and would certainly prefer it rather than her returning to Billy or getting involved in another relationship like this.

She is screwed up by a domineering father. It’s poisoning all of the siblings except Abby maybe.

I think Ashland really loved Victoria - she made him feel again he said - so before in life he went through the motions due to his past. Nikki will say anything to Victoria to ' protect ' her, so didn't totally buy her speech

I saw the scene as a parent trying to tell their child that they didn’t do anything wrong, weren’t responsible for any of what has happened. Guess to a large degree that is what parents do thinking they are supportive but I couldn’t help but think that has been part of Vikki’s problem. Even Vikki laid blame on her problems with JT on his tumor and not on their marriage and her siding with her father over her husband all the time. Nope not her fault in any way. Yet here is the adult child telling her mom that she knows she has underlying issues with relationships that have created issues with the men in her life.

Nikki swept that honest confession of Vikki’s under the rug by essentially saying to her daughter its always been the men’s fault. Maybe a heart-to-heart with her instead acknowledging Vikki’s feelings and broaching the topic of counseling would have helped Vikki more. I see Vikki continuing to be insufferable, not working on herself and relationships with others, and doomed to repeat relationships that fall apart because well it’s never about her.

While Nikki seems content staying in her marriage, it sounds briefly to me that Vikki wants to fix what’s emotionally damaging in her relationships so maybe she can find happiness.

Great post. I agree. I was annoyed when Nikki stopped Victoria in the middle of admitting to her part in the whole mess. It was a great moment for her until Nikki stopped her.

ITA with this. Victoria needs therapy and not from her mother who has stayed in an abuse relationship for years.

Good post. I think Victoria's biggest problem is both her parents. Niki tries to hard to cushion all life's blows from Victoria and Victor treats her like a performing seal.

Thanks for the warning! I now know to ff through that when I watch. What has happened to Nikki? She used to be kind, smart, and honest. But I guess Victor’s long-term abuse has taken its toll on her personality. It’s not possible to take her seriously anymore ?

OP, I agree that Nikki and Victoria's performances were really great today! I really think that was the line of today, "Predators will become someone prey" so very true..

If that's the case, When does Victor become someone's prey?

When Nikki told Victoria that she is so caring and forgiving, I could’ve laughed. The way she treats Adam is just one example of how she is not that way at all. I guess Nikki was talking about her relationships such as with Billy or something? Forgiving him and taking him back numerous times?

Despite what tptb trying to sell, Victoria is not a kind or caring woman; she is very icy cold. Even when she’s supposed to be in love it comes off extremely awkward. I know some like to place all of the blame on Victor on how Victoria turned out and the choices made, but what about Nikki’s part or lack there of. Nikki spend both of her kids years growing up passed out drunk no kind of rearing; she was not a good mom at all. Then boarding school raises them. Victoria just don’t know how to love and ironically handles all of her relationship as a business deal…well I think she actually shows more genuine affection towards her business deals

Nikki is a whole joke. No one needs to take advice from her on relationships. The ONLY reason Victor hasn’t dumped her is because he’s too old now to chase other women . Nikki has taken severe abuse from Victor for decades and now that’s he’s old she’s just walking and smiling like the torment was worth cashing in now. I always thought he and Ashley were the better fit. Nikki was better off with Jack. Victoria can blame no one but herself for the Vashland disaster. I haven’t forgotten she jumped in feet first thinking of only the merger and pulling it off to shove it in Victor’s face. She was quickly trying to push it through before she even thought Ashland was sick. Ashland didn’t fit a type. Victoria couldn’t handle someone who was just like her . She does anything necessary to prove she’s a big dog and suddenly a man who does the same is abusive?????? She’s engaging in insider trading right now as we speak . She ran from Chance to avoid telling the truth claiming to
care for her kids who she dumped off on Billy and Lily who she spent weeks trying to keep apart. Her problem is she wants her daddy as a partner. That’s her sickness . She has a perverted love for Victor, a complex.
