My thought is Sally will try too hard to prove her worth to Victoria,

I hope Sally doesn't mess up, because i like her. But i can see Sally trying to hard & maybe resorting to something underhanded. Its the trying to hard to prove herself that usually cause things not to end so well for Sally.

Was really surprised that Victoria agreed to Sally hiring Chloe as COO. Especially since Chloe doesn’t have the qualifications that Victoria wanted for that position. But hey, as we all know, people are given positions whether they’re qualified or not.

Victoria agreed to leave Sally as CEO so she should be permitted to hire her staff. Sally will sink or swim with Chloe.
I was happy that Sally lost her attitude by the time the conversation with Victoria and Nick ended because she shouldn’t be antagonizing them after they offered the olive branch. Sally wanted a chance to prove herself and they have given her a chance.

I think Victoria sees Sally's worth but is holding off showing that side of herself to Sally just yet.
To see Sally so gracious for the opportunity they have given was good to see. She doesn't need Adam to shine in her position as CEO. I think she will surprise them all.

I didn’t see Sally with an attitude, just because Victoria and Nick decided to give her a chance doesn’t mean she has to cower down to them, she told them she was grateful and thanked them, but if she’s going to be a strong CEO, she shouldn’t be a softy. IMO she kept it professional.

Sally has never done that so I don’t see her doing that now. Unfortunately it does appear she’ll be linked to two brothers AGAIN sigh. Nick is showing a little too much interest and I don’t like it.

I think Nick is trying to do that level headed balancing thing, with Victoria. I actually agree that if Sally has been doing a good job, not to change things right now

I tend to think the writers will have Sally do a great job so she becomes permanent.

So Sally will be on her best behaviour, probably with good guy Nick now dressed like a normal business person and with no issue in her life. How boring. I would rather see Sally and Adam making waves and being just a bit devious. Sally should never be one of the mainstream. Her uniqueness is part of her charm.

And I want her back in fashion

Offered her an olive branch? They walked in set to fire her. After hearing her out they changed their mind and gave her 90 days.

Yes; Sally could have immediately been shown the door but she was given a chance. I doubt Sally is the first executive told there is a 90 day period. When I started my working career a temporary period was not unusual.

Well now is Sally’s chance to prove herself since she won’t have Adam as back up and we shall see if she sinks or swims but that’s all on her now. Personally I enjoy Sally in work mode away from Adam … I like to see her shine on her own and as much as I’d rather have her and Chloe working fashion instead I am interested to see these two work together… wouldn’t even mind if Elena joined their work group as well… I want to see these characters mix it up with more of the cast instead of the same groups all the time

Oh I agree.. Chloe and Chelsea’s friendship is why I couldn’t stand Chloe for the longest time but now that both have been separated into different storylines for now ( Chelsea with Billy and Chloe with Sally) I may be able to enjoy all these characters again as I am enjoying this new dynamic with them all. Definitely would like to see more Chloe on the show and maybe even Kevin as well… I’d like to see more Baldwin’s on screen too! I was hoping Kevin and Phyllis would team up to look up dirt together on Diane… I always liked the dynamic between Kevin and Phyllis … considering her friendship with his brother and sister in law and Kevin’s friendship with Phyllis’s son Daniel.

Chloe and Sally are very similar to Chelsea and Chloe because Chloe went from being bff and second banana to a woman in love with Adam she worked for to another woman in love with Adam she works for.

I have always wanted Adam and Sally to work separately so all their scenes are not about work, but I do want them together.

CH has said she enjoyed both the professional story and her romantic story, and not sure why Sally can't have both.

Have Adam start a rival company to NE and Sally stay at Newman media or, preferably, start a fashion company so theyu both are powerful people but very in love.

The show needs a fire romantic couple and nobody else has their chemistry

I agree, I couldn’t stand seeing Adam and Sally working together. It was so boring honestly. Sally has always been a hard worker and never needed a man to help her at work. Maybe now that she and Adam are separated from work they might be interesting.

I'm hoping they keep Adam and Sally apart for the 90 days so she can prove herself without him. Victoria told her she could hire Chloe and she will asess in that time frame if the pair of them have succeeded or failed. Actually, I hope they succeed.

That's what I am hoping too! Adam knows that Sally can do this job without him but I think he needed for the other Newmans to see for themselves Sally's drive and how she operates to get things done. I do believe Sally and Chloe will successfully run NM together just fine.

I think it's a good compromise. Chloe doesn't have veteran experience but Chloe has plenty of executive management experience. For both Sally and Chelsea, Chloe was the one holding the ship together while they were being creative

I really don't think Sally has to try so hard at all to prove anything to Victoria. I really do think her actions will speak for themselves. I think Sally is a very confident and driven woman who knows what she wants and makes it happen, because of that, she will use that same drive to get the job done at NM smoothly

I hope they don't keep them apart that long. I think Sally loves Adam too, much to actually stay as CEO of Newman Media for 90 days.

I truly don’t understand that logic. She can love Adam and her career. She can wait then get back to him. Sally has always been ambitious and always put her career first. If Adam loves her then he can wait.

Sally is a hard worker and should be able to do a good job unless she lets her personal life mess it up for her.
