So much is going on with Sheila in Los Angeles, yet no one talks about it in Genoa City. Sheila's currently wrecking havoc for the Forresters; gunning down her son and daughter-in-law, escaping prison and road raging people off highways, and no one has warned Lauren that Sheila has escaped and might turn up in Genoa City. Is it difficult for Eric to give Lauren a call to let her know that Sheila's out on the loose? Also, this kind of stuff would be all over the Internet.

Sheila has no storyline on Y&R. I have no desire whatsoever to have any return of that character or even a mention of her name. One B&B reject character is enough.Comment

xoregonian Shoelover Exactly. Daisy Carter is the daughter of Sheila Carter and the mother of Lucy Romalotti. Sheila and Phyllis are both the grandmothers of Lucy. Daisy had drugged Daniel in order to sleep w/ him, pretending to be Amber Moore who was his girlfriend back then. -
Right. Daisy and Ryder are fraternal twins, Sheila was their mother and "Terrible" Tom Fisher was supposedly their father, making Kevin Fisher their half-sibling. Kevin was accepting of Daisy, after Ryder fled town. Sarah Smythe (Lauren's doppelganger) was Sheila's sister and Daisy/Ryder's aunt, who raised them after Sheila's "death."

YRFANATIC Sheila is once more being made too crazy—way too crazy—she should show more maturity, esp. at her age. She should come back to the 'Y&R', reconnect w/ Lucy, Daisy, Ryder, and truly get it right this time.Comment

My opinion is that obviously, in the real world, Lauren surely would know about Sheila being alive. However, since right now Y&R has no plans to bring her back, it’s simply not going to be mentioned on the show. To mention her would serve as a foreshadowing to her returning to Genoa City. Right now, there must not be any plans for that. I’m sure if it’s ever decided to bring her back, she’ll be discussed but not until then.Comment

I don't care to hear the mention of her name. I don't mind a Daniel and Lucy return but no mention of Shelia, Daisy and Ryder. Their storyline is over. There are already characters who are causing stir because of being unpopular and there are already vet characters who have just diappeared. It's not mentioned that Bill Spencer looks exactly like Brad Carlton or that Eric looks exactly like Lance Prentis so I think we can forget this Sheila aspect as well. I'm willing to try.Comment

YR needs to collaborate with its sister soap more. They have a lot of good momentum and it's great "synergy" for both YR and Bold. It's so bizarre that they haven't linked Sheila and Lauren yet. And what about Sheila's kids Daisy and Ryder? This could be an interesting way to bring back Daniel and Lucy, as Lucy is the granddaughter of Sheila Carter.Comment

xoregonian On 'The Young and the Restless', in 2010, it was revealed Sheila Carter had twins, Daisy and Ryder, with fellow archvillain Tom Fisher. A DNA test supervised by Kevin Fisher confirmed Kevin and Ryder, and therefore Daisy, to be paternal half-siblings. Daisy explained to Lauren that Ryder did lie about his being raised by Tom Fisher, but that Tom did indeed father them (Daisy and Ryder). Daisy explained that Sheila gave birth to them but did not raise them. She said: "Sheila didn't raise her twins. Doesn't mean she didn't give birth to them and then pawn them off to someone else. Our mother was too busy with her vendetta against you to give us a thought. If it weren't for you, my brother and I would have had a mother, our real mother. And for that, we are gonna make you suffer, like we did."
The twins were raised by Sarah Smythe (aka "Mama Bear" and "Aunt Sarah"), Sheila's sister. Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) explained in TV Guide Magazine: "I think it’d be too easy to kill Lauren. Sarah really wants Lauren to suffer because Sarah has suffered so much. In Sarah’s mind, Sheila was murdered in cold blood by Lauren. Also, Sarah had to raise Sheila’s children because Sheila was always so obsessed with Lauren that she wasn’t around to raise her kids properly. You can just imagine what it would be like to be in a family with Sheila! Sarah never had any sense of personal power, she never had a real chance in life. So now, in setting up this revenge, she’s finally as powerful as Sheila was. Sarah’s initial goal is to make Lauren suffer by taking her place in her world, and letting her know it. But pretty soon that doesn’t become enough for her." Note: Sarah, also a nurse like Sheila, ended up having plastic surgery to look like Lauren and take over her life and riches.
Daisy also told Lauren: "You are going to pay and pay and pay the way we had to our whole miserable lives. Ryder and I waited years for our mother to come back, but she couldn’t. Sheila was either in the hospital or L.A. or South America or some damn place. Why?! Because of you. Do you have any idea what it's like growing up without a mother?"
Note: It was years later revealed, on 'The Bold and the Beautiful', that Sheila had also given birth to a son called John/Jonathan "Finn" Finnegan. She had Finn w/ a man named Jack Finnegan. Just like the twins, Sheila did not raise Finn but let Jack and his wife Li raise him. However, Jack lied to Li, not telling her he was Finn's biological father in order to conceal his affair w/ Sheila. In the early nineties, Sheila was all about Lauren, Scott and Scotty. Sheila only showed interest in Finn as he married in the Forrester family. (John "Finn" Finnegan and Steffy Forrester have a son called Hayes.)
I hope this clarifies things. In September 2012, a woman singing “Sheila Carter” checked Daisy Carter out of Fairview where she was hiding from Paul' son, Ricky Williams, that wanted her dead because she found out Ricky had murdered his girlfriend. (Paul later shot and killed Ricky in self-defence as he threatened Eden Baldwin, Michael's half-sister, with a knife.)
It should be explained Sheila survived, fell into a coma, went to prison (as explained on the 'B&B') and later had reverse plastic surgery (not to look like Phyllis any longer), and then checked Daisy Carter out of Fairview. It's the only explanation that would truly make sense and fit the storytelling of both serials. -

As far as I'm concerned, it's two different soaps. If I want to watch B&B I will. In fact I watched it years ago until I decided I wasn't invested so I quit. If the writers want to incorperate both soaps, then I'm done. I have no interest in B&B sharing the spotlight with Y&R.

The writers on Y&R could easily undo 'Sheila's' death.....and give Lauren a great story at the same time....that doesn't have to involve Sheila, per se.
If someone from L.A. would tell Lauren that Sheila's alive, Lauren would then wonder 'who did I shoot and kill then?' and could become obsessed with finding out.....and that could lead her to trouble she never even imagined....it could kick off a great story for her....
They could undo the Daisy and Ryder connection as well....I doubt very many would mind if they just said 'the DNA test was wrong, and Daisy and Ryder were never Tom Fisher's kids....or the woman who made herself look like Lauren was a former cellmate of Sheila's who was so obsessed with the story that when she got out of prison she decided to 'have some fun' in Genoa City and was never Sheila's sister to begin with...she was involved with Tom Fisher at one point, but was not at all related to Sheila Carter...in fact, the show could just completely ignore this facet of the history and I doubt many would care - leave it at Fauxyllis was not Sheila, but who was she as a story for Lauren and go from there....

Well, we already know that Sugar had surgery to look like Sheila so Sheila could escape and keep Sugar in her place....I can't imagine they could THEN make her look like Phyllis....I realize the whole idea of an exact lookalike is far fetched to begin with, but...the idea that a person could be made to look exactly like someone else then get it reversed to look exactly as they did before? That's way too much of a stretch in my mind....;0) -
Mariko As GuidingLite explained, the Phyllis look-alike was certainly not Sugar. Sheila tricked Sugar into looking just like her (Sheila), and then had Sugar locked up in an institution. Sheila did so so Lauren would think Sheila was no longer a threat. Sugar later escaped and stabbed Scotty in order to make Sheila suffer. Sugar then got arrested; Lauren knew it wasn’t Sheila since Sheila, who had revealed herself to Lauren, had later broken her ankle, and Lauren made the splint herself. Sugar hated Sheila with a passion, so why would she then have a second surgery to look like Phyllis and kidnap Fen? With all due respect, that doesn’t make any sense. If anything, Sugar would have opted to have a second surgery to recover her old face.
As for Sheila, she is the one with the broken ankle, walking in crutches, who went to see the surgeon, handed him that photograph and asked him to make her look like somebody else. The Phyllis look-alike remembered taking photos of Lauren and Brad together in bed, and she later kidnapped Fen, renaming him Scotty. Daisy, Ryder and Sarah all confirmed Sheila is the one that had that surgery. It would make sense for Sheila to have survived that gunshot wound, fallen into a coma and then, after coming to, gone to prison and then have had reverse plastic surgery and checked Daisy out of Fairview. If the thought of Sheila having had two surgeries is ludicrous, why would the thought of Sugar having had two surgeries be any different? According to the storytelling, Sheila having survived Lauren’s gunshot wound and then having reverse surgery makes the most sense.
And there is no real proof the Phyllis look-alike died. Didn’t Diane survive having her face underwater with a big gash at the back of her head? Wasn’t a corpse stolen to fake Diane’s death? Wasn’t Phillip III’s coffin found empty? Wasn’t a wax figure found in the coffin of ‘B&B’’s Taylor Hayes Sheila had shot? Sheila’s son Finn was recently revealed to be alive, in a coma, after his adoptive mother Li had signed his death certificate and smuggled him out of the hospital (Sheila had accidentally shot Finn while trying to murder Steffy). Sheila could have very well survived in a similar manner.
And I do not agree with undoing the Daisy/Ryder/Sarah story. Lucy is now Sheila and Phyllis’ granddaughter, and I think that’s brilliant! Imagine having the blood of both Phyllis Summers and Sheila Carter + the blood of Tom Fisher! And I’d love to see Sheila reunited onscreen w/ Daisy, Ryder and Lucy. Daisy & Ryder touched me a lot, and being the offspring of Sheila & Tom is a huge part of their appeal—I want it to remain so.Last edited by Arckangel; June 27, 2022, 04:52 PM.

Has Sheila mentioned all her other kids on BB? I have seen a few shows and read the recaps but it seems Sheila thinks her only kid is Finn.Comment
