Anyone else want Nick & Adam to mend their relationship?

I think that were making good progress. It wasn't too fast, not too slow. They would talk. They shared beers. They were really bonding. I miss that. I wish they would go back to working things out with each other. It even put a smile on the moustache at one point. ?

Nah, I hate seeing people groveling and Adam has groveled enough. Nick is not loyal to anyone except his children. He isn't worth the effort.

I'd love to see Nick and Adam have a decent relationship. They dont have to be joined at the hip but they can at least be civil to one another without all the animosity. I'm very tired of listening to Victoria take every opportunity to plunge a dagger in Adam's back. Cant Adam at least have one relative who doesnt hate his guts? I would think saving his daughter's life would be reason enough to be civil to Adam. No groveling. Just civility.

They were on the right path at one time. Then this Ashland nonsense started and then Adam took up with Sally so it seems Adam is going in a different direction, possibly even being exposed as trying to sabotage his father where Ashland is concerned and ultimately gaining the wrath of Nick. Everyone can blame Nick for being so self righteous when it comes to Adam but. it seems he always has a reason to be and it seems it's going in that direction again. I wish they would just stop it and have that family all together without one having to be the black sheep while another oe seems to be the "teacher's pet" so to speak.

I do... I am all for family getting along. I was enjoying the short time that Nick and Adam were bonding. I thought it was the beginning of a true brotherhood with them but with the Newman's it just doesn't seem possible which is unfortunate. May be if Nick would stop looking for the bad in Adam and remember the good that he has done, they can work on building their relationship again.

Not if it means that he has to keep proving himself every five minutes. Civil and cordial should be good enough. The Katzenjammer Kids will never truly accept him anyway. I would like to see he and Chance repair their friendship.

Wait, Nick and Adam are on the outs? Again? I thought they came to an understanding with Adam saving Faith's life?

Again, please correct me if I am wrong, as I was on my boycott during that time. So I only read summaries.

What purpose would that serve? Not only is that unrealistic and out of character, you have another boring forgettable nicey nice dynamic that really isn’t necessary.

They’re not even beefing anymore. Nick just doesn’t like or trust Adam very much.

l thought they already have, but seems all that bonding, progress got erased when the plan to get rid of Ash kicked in. Obviously, Nick is protective of Victoria and Adam can't even show, or express his desires to run NE without stepping on anyone's toes. Nick gave up on the family business ages ago but when it comes down to who he'll side with, it's clear it will be Victoria. How about Adam SAVING his daugther TWICE in one year, doesn't that COUNT for anything? so much for gratitude.

I think Nick has expressed gratitude for saving Faith. At one point they watched some sports on TV together. But the whole Ashland thing came into play and then Sally hooked up with Adam so the brotherly love routine was put aside. Nick also saw a side of Adam that told him Adam is not out to help Vikki and also that he wants that CEO chair. Heck, even Michael Baldwin saw that and threw it right at Adam in Society the other day. When Nick hears that Adam does not have their sister's back, then Nick grows cold again. Yes, Vikki is no angel in it either, but that's how Nick runs.

I feel very sorry for Adam. Look at the family he was born into. No matter what he does, no matter how much he gives (kidney anyone?), it's not enough. Not one of the other Newmans has the least bit of desire to even be civil to the guy. He would do well to cut ties with all of them including Pops who used to claim he WANTED to be a father to him and have a relationship with him. Now even he has cooled toward Adam. (I'm blaming that on Victoria and her lies about Adam's business ability that Victor bought into.)

Maybe, if Adam's so called family would have been the least bit accepting of him, he wouldnt have done half the horrible things he did. With the loss of his mother, Hope, he lost her love and acceptance and was thrown into the lion's den by finding out Victor Newman was his father. Basically, Adam is food for the lions. Horrible way to live his life - always wanting to be accepted but never being good enough. How much of that can anyone take? It's just terrible for him.

No, I like their beef. I like Mark's Adam but Adam always has been and always will be scum.

Nick became angry at Adam, after Adam helped Victor stop Jessie from exposing Ashland's secrets.

I'm sure Adam would be all in, Nick is the problem they can't stay on the right track.

No, you're right. I'm with you, I think Nick and Adam are fine for now. Nothing new to upset their bromance.
