    No Sympathy’s for Ashland

He keeps showing up at places where he knows he’ll run into people who hate him. And then he gets that sad face when someone confronts him. Why not eat at the GCAC now that it’s been introduced again? Why not meet that lawyer at her office? Why not get coffee at the GP? Yeah, I know, no sets. But his “woe is me” look is getting old.

I absolutely loved Sharon's tirade at him. He deserved every bit of it. I'm sure that it takes every ounce of self-control for her to allow him to sit there and sip her coffee.

Did you notice Ashland's expression? He seemed not to be listening or didn't care how Sharon felt. I didn't see sympathy in those eyes. He is a true narcissist.

Juicy07 Given that Sharon had already vented to him about it when she first heard he had lied about his cancer, and he doubled down on his lies, he showed how little remorse he had and how easy it is for him to lie. Yes, he's a true narcissist.

Sharon can refuse to serve him. She's the owner and that's her right. She can also ask him to leave.

Ashland is no Prince Charming. However, Harrison loves him and he loves Harrison. That is all children understand. Harrison has already lost his mother Tara and
gone on to Kyle and Summer in Italy, and now external forces want to take away his " father". Diane will have access even though she's a risk factor.
Seems unfair to me. Ashland has eyes that don't lie.

Ashland's eyes did a whole lot of lying to Victoria, Harrison, and a whole lot of other people. As Sharon pointed out, to put those people who love you through the trauma of believing you have cancer, especially to do so to better his power and wealth, is despicable. And he even doubled down by lying to Sharon when he said it was nothing more than a smear campaign against him.

My comment was about Harrison. Not Victoria.
        However, he also loves her.

He lied to both of them. Making people who care about you fearful for your future is a warped way of showing love.

Then we have other posts saying everyone is a hypocrite for being mean to him and Diane. The way I see it, they asked for everything they are getting. People aren't hypocrites for wanting to keep other untrustowrthy characters out of their lives.

Sharon sure let Ashland have it today... She didn't hold back. Ashland looked like he was feeling every word Sharon was saying to him by the look in his eyes. I really think she got to him and he couldn't deny any of it. Great scene.

What's interesting is that Ash is just going on about his day, feeling sad, missing Victoria, it's EVERYONE else who sees him that can't help but to engage into an argument with him. He simply doesn't have the energy to do so, and he just let them go on and on....Ash isn't doing anything atm so why they can't leave him alone it's annoying. Ash did everything they asked him for gave up his shares of Newman/Locke and annulled his marriage to Victoria. He hasn't tried to reach her or win her back in fact last time they were together it was Victoria WHO approached Ash not the other way around. Victor feels insecure, scared, he knows despite of what Victoria says to them all she still loves Ash that's why now he's using an innocent boy to get him out of town, to hurt Ash, not that he doesn't deserve it, but how can you root for a man who would use a child for his own vendetta? how...maybe l shouldn't and l still loathe how they ruined Ash and made him more conniving especially rewriting his pure honest love for Victoria and turned into a chess game, but l do still like the guy and hope for Ashtoria to reunite. There l said it.

If Ashland would stand up and challenge Victor I will fan out until he leaves. A business beatdown would be perfect. Where's Loche Ness? Come forth evil one and rain down terror ole Victor.

I have tons of sympathy for Ashland now. He's owned up to what he's done, basically apologized even to people he didn't need to apologize to, and his child still loves his "father". The guy hangs around in a town of people who hate him and faces everyone and lets them have their say to him.

I have always wanted Ashland to win against the Newmans, but knew it would never really happen. No doubt they are all fixing to gang up on him now that Victor implored Summer to talk Kyle into preventing any visitation.

Michael is on board to attack Ashland in any legal way. Don't know how that will go down, but I'm sure Ashland has somewhat of a legal leg to stand on when it comes to the kid who as far we know is still legally his son.

I like Robert Newman but his presence is turning Ashland into "Josh Lewis".

Well, I want a ruthless Ashland! He and Victor are equally wealthy as well. Victor needs to be taught a lesson and he doesn't have to be ruined financially for that to be done. Victor needs to learn that he is not the only billionaire and ruthless person in the world.

As for Kyle, he is no match for a real ruthless Ashland. He needs to sit his ass down somewhere. If ruthless Ashland returns, Kyle had better run!!

The first actor didn’t portray Ashland has ruthless…That was the tale the writers kept trying to sell. We never saw it. I like RN . He’s making Ashland a real person who isn’t flinching every ten minutes or stoic the rest of the time. No one is allowed to outshine Victor on this show and that doesn’t work on a show that’s supposed to be about drama. Ashland has the means, the show just won’t go there

Sharon of all people is The LAST person to judge anybody,,, She faked her death.. She has abandoned her children when they were little and yet again when she faked her death let them think it..

She concealed who Christian was even after Sage died after she ran for help to get him back from Sharon when she would not hand her son over.. Mariah helped Sharon lie to Dylan and everybody else about Christian.. She saw how Sage suffered at the loss and could not even come clean??

How could she do it and also Mariah was in that plan to keep the truth that Christian was alive after Sharon begged her to do so as well..

She married the man who gaslit Ashley to the point she almost died and took Faith and pretended to Sharon that the baby was dead and he handed her ashes and she married that man.. Adam did that for no good reason.. Sharon knew ALL of it too..

Not to mention when Sharon pushed Phyllis down those stairs (which left her in a coma for months) and she was unconscious she left her there and didn't call for help..

Love Ashland and I do believe and can see his remorse and love for his son and even Victoria.. Love it..

I am an Ashland fan and until he does something to tell me otherwise, I believe he's sorry and loves Victoria and Harrison. I am rooting for Ashland and hope the plan to shut him out of his son's life fails.

The writers are not using him well, however. His scenes are pretty much the same and he has very little dialogue. Although he's defied Victor and has not left GC, that's all the writers are going to allow him to do because he simply cannot upstage Victor. Ashland will lose in the end because Victor cannot lose.

Great actor with so much potential for the character. I will continue to enjoy the character without getting my hopes up too high that he will become a really pivotal character to rival TGVN. Too bad.

I will say I don't see him groveling but genuinely trying to right a wrong while still being strong..... One thing he is NOT allowing Adam to get to him as Adam would love.. Ashland has Adams number and their last scenes proved it even moreso than ever..

LOVE IT....... Ashland is still praising Victoria while Adam tries to tear her down and Ashland knows what he wants and is up to...Also Ashland is reminding Adam that Hamilton Winters and Chancellor merged and he should worry, LOL...GO ASHLAND..

Adam is such a petty, whiney jerk...

I don't see Ashland groveling either. He was quite hilarious with Adam and has a thousand witty comebacks every time.

And Victoria has not signed off on Ashland yet. In fact, she has admitted to most of her family that she still has feelings for him and probably still loves him. I want them to win together against the rest of the stupid Newmans. Probably not in business, but maybe in love. LOL
