Phyllis on wash rinse repeat where Diane is concerned

I am so tired of Phyllis shrieking every five minutest to Jack, Summer or any one who will listen about how horrible Diane is. Its like all the material Jack and Phyllis are being given. The story is on repeat. Move it along already. They dont know where they are going with this so they have continue to bash Diane on repeat.

I couldn’t agree more! I was watching Friday’s show thinking enough already of Phyllis and her shrieking. I hope we aren’t going to be subjected to this for months. It is sad that Y&R had to bring back Diane and rehash something that was done approx. 20 years ago. It would be nice if the writers came up with something fresh and new, but that’s hoping for a lot.

Well with Diane's return this is to be expected. What did everyone think would happen? It was a big storyline back in the day and she affected people, not just Phyllis, in a big way. They were traumatized by her. You can't blame any of them for freaking out. It's why I hate storyies like this. There are so many viewers who may hear some of the history but it's not the same as watching it day after day as some of us did. Not blaming anyone for this except the writers for writing the return but it would help them understand the situation better if they had seen the thing play out back then instead of wondering why all the yelling.

Exactly! Phyllis, Jack, Nikki, Victor, Ashley, etc., are all reacting to Diane in this way because of what Diane did to each of them. No one is going to say, glad you’re back and here’s a clean slate.

Diane walking around spouting, “I’ve changed”, doesn’t mean anything. These folks need to see the change and they haven’t.

I agree. The Sally haters on Y&R didn't see her personal evolution and intentional destruction by others on B&B. History is the context for Diane's character and return. Also, background for Sally's behavior.

I really am past listening to Phyllis screech on and on about Diane. I hope the show will have a new twist to the story so it’s not a rinse and repeat. Hey, maybe Elena will overhear her and suggest prescribing some mood calming medication for her outbursts before Phyllis has a coronary or gets herself locked up in Fairview!

All the dumber because she was the even-keeled one when Diane first re-appeared, telling Jack to give her a chance and that Kyle should know she's alive. Now she's saying that she only did that because she expected everyone to be smart and shun her.

I am so over it Phyllis is the most dangerous hypocrite on the whole show beside Victor . Phyllis and victor got redemption so why not Diane. I remember Diane on the show and off the show she was a good mother and it was Jack that did not have kyle in his life because he was to busy working and boinking Phyllis . So i say what ever Diane does the the hypocrites in G C is fine with me . She does love her son . And screw the rest of them .

I recall that Phyllis did suggest to Jack that keeping Diane’s back-from-the-dead from Kyle was not a good idea. Jack was just reeling from Keemo’s death and the secret he kept from Keemo. Phyllis did not want Jack to make the same mistake twice.

Phyllis is loosing it and hope she doesn't try to get Diane killed or kidnapped. Phyllis is
capable of anything in her hyper mood. Summer was like mommy to her instead of the
other way around. Summer tried to calm Phyllis down by changing the subject. Jack
even seems surprised at how wacky Phyllis is.

Phyllis has reminded everyone of Diane’s duplicitous nature. And many people agree with Phyllis’ opinion. Others are also ringing the alarm about Diane. Phyllis needs to stop pressuring Summer and freaking out about Kyle (most likely) forgiving his mother. They are adults, they know what Diane did and at least Summer is not taking Diane’s word that she has changed as gospel. They’ve been warned. Phyllis can keep an eye on Diane but she really needs to tone down her rancor or else Kyle and Summer will resent her which would delight Diane; Phyllis needs to be less emotional and smarter about her valid concerns about Diane. I think Phyllis can be just as devious as Diane! I hardly see a difference between them! They can both be abnoxious manipulators. Add in the Sally /Phyllis hatred, and anything goes! Phyllis is a sick cookie!

Phyllis is obsessed with Diane. The trembling voice and waving arms are getting old. I wasn’t watching during the first Diane/Phyllis war, was it that bad that Phyllis would be so upset now, or is this just Phyllis going off the rails again?

It was that bad. It wasn’t just Phyllis but Jack, Ashley, Abby, Nikki, and Victor to name a few. And, “little” matter of what she did to Kyle.

Diane has repeatedly admitted she faked her death because of all the rotten things she did to everyone and wanted out from the chaos she caused.

Phyllis is by no means demented what Diane did to her was bad it was really bad she has every reason to freak out now she is back just like Nikki went off on her. Diane did some horrible things to people and you do not just forget that . Just because other people have also done bad things it does not mean they just have to sit back and take anything Diane throws at them .Just because Diane loves her son it does not make everything else go away or give her a pass.

I can’t stand Phyllis, she’s such a big hypocrite. I wish Christine could come back and laugh in her face. Phyllis tried to kill Christine and to this day have not apologized to her so that really says a lot about her so called being a changed person, Phyllis hasn’t changed at all, she just has people like stupid Jack and Nick that just accepted the way she is because she’s “Phyllis”, so because of that she gets away with it when she does things to others.

l know. Now it feels like the only reason Phack finally got together is because of DIANE not their love. Why is Phyllis so threatened and insecure by Diane all of a sudden? it's ridiculous that she feels like Diane could actually steal Jack's heart, really, hasn't she realized it yet, that even when she was with Nick, Jack NEVER stopped loving Phyllis. So she has nothing to worry about.

Jack and Phyllis love each other but Diane and her mind games cause chaos. It’s a repeat of Diane. Jack has never loved Diane like he loves Phyllis. But, Phyllis has been letting Diane get to her. Phyllis needs to ignore Diane but it wouldn’t be a soap without outside forces. So, I see the writers letting this go on for the foreseeable future. No smooth sailing for their reunion.
