Abscond with Harrison. Is she a mental case escaped from an institution who believes Harrison would be her son and she could raise him the way she didn't Kyle. Harrison disappearing could destroy their marriage and lead to all kinds of story lines

Well not sure if she would take off with the boy but I could beleive the part that she escaped froma mental facility. I thought Phyllis was going to research that, in fact I thought the Abbott family requested the name of the therapist who treated her but for some reason no one has followed up on that.

At the end of today's show. Listen to her comments. She's obsessed with him. I think she's nuts. I agree they dropped the ball not checking her past and therapist. Let's see whose more delusional. Diane or Chelsea who said Victoria killed Ray. Ashland could get custody again if Diane runs off with Harrison. That may be the price Kyle pays for letting her in.

At the end of the show today, Diane is looking at a pic of Harrison on her phone and says something like he will be spending a lot more time with his "DD". It was creepy, but also vague.

I don't see her ultimate plan as kidnapping the kid. But I've been wrong many times before.

Like others, I want to know why all of these rich people aren't searching into Diane's background for the past 20 years (was she dead for 20 years, or more like 15?) and confirming every last thing she has told them? They need facts on where she has been and what she's been doing all this time.

I jst wrote this on a different post, that the Abbotts wanted the name of her therapist and theybwere going to follow up on all that but it's never happened. So that comment about spending more time with DD could mean anything. It could mean alone and out of state or it could simply men she is on the level. It's a big question mark right now. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if she does make off with him and they find out that she has actually escaped from the mental facility.

Ok I saw that scene and just thought Diane could now believe that she was in town for a while and finally making positive inroads with seeing Kyle and his son. Didn’t see it as creepy like others did.

I'll probably have nightmares tonight now! Diane scares the crap out of me. I think she's deranged.

I got the chills when I heard her day that. Any time children are involved I hate it. But she seems delusional and dangerous. She and Ashlsnd will use each other but Diane to me is the more dangerous of the two. I just feel like she thinks this boy is hers.

Sincethe70s I agree. She scares me. That look she had was pure delusion and evil. Ashland just makes me furious. (as a cancer patient I hate this character more than I can describe)
I really could see her kidnapping Harrison and going back to California pretending he is her child.
Probably Ashland will stay around to try to get Victoria back.

I am fairly disgusted that the writers thought it a good idea for Diane to pick the nickname DeeDee. Why would they do that? Jack winced when he heard her say that to Kyle.

Can you just imagine what the rest of the town will do if they hear her call herself that, or worse if Harrison calls her that out in public? How long until that happens? What on earth would Billy and/or Chloe do if they hear that?

OP - this sounds great! You have me thinking!

Phyllis is on edge (she said as much) so it feels like the writers are trying to send her all the way over but it might be a red herring. Maybe the person who is on the edge is Diane. I have thought she sounds creepy in some of her conversations especially with Allie and Kyle.

Maybe Diane will take Phyllis and Harrison but frame Phyllis so when both are missing Jack / Kyle thinks Phyllis did it.

I'm tired of all these baby stealing storylines. The writers need to come up with something more original than that.
I think it would be fun if Diane & Ashland hooked up but I think he prefers younger women. Tara was in her 30s & Victoria is in her 40s.

I think Diane is smarter than that. She’d convince people that it was a good idea for Harrison to be close to her rather than kidnap him.

I don't know if she plans on abducting Harrison, but I do think she may not be mentally stable. Something just doesn't seem right with her. She's succeeding in getting Kyle to give her another chance, will get him on her side and then he'll be defending her left and right once she starts her antics.
