Seeing Diane and Nikki slap each other reminds me of Dynasty and is great TV [MERGED]

Seeing Diane and Nikki slap each other at this stage of life is a flashback to the 80s with Dynasty having Linda Evans & Joan Collins go after each other lol

Also ironic was Nikki calling Diane a professional gold digger when she went from stripper to Victor then to Jack and back to Victor over decades so no apartment living there lol

Why is Nicki being a stripper such a big deal? It's a job where she earned plenty of money. Simply being a stripper doesn't make you a gold digger. Victor wanted Nicki. Jack wanted Nicki. She didn't chase after them for the life that they had.

It's not what this thread is about - It was just my opinion that being a stripper is degrading and not a wholesome profession with the thought that Nikki is being snooty with Diane as if she's better than Diane just because her circumstances have changed for the better because she married a man with money.

kirkelash Nikki is being snooty with Diane right now because Diane faked her death and Nicki was nearly headed to jail and blackmailed because of Diane's actions.

Nikki thought she killed JT and along with other women buried him to cover up a murder she thought she commited. No one in Genoa City was snooty toward Nikki. Nikki conveniently forgets her own trangrestions. Oh well, the writers are not doing a good job with this storyline.

Loved Loved Loved it!!!! ? Now this is what I’m talking about…picking up the pace a little and doing something unpredictable. I really didn’t think that was gonna happen…but Nikki deserved it in a way!

Funny Nikki didn't tell Victoria she was in Diane's face being nasty. Disappointed Diane reacted that way but yes it was soapy.

Nicki's comment did make me wonder. If Diane had such a successful practice, then what is the status of her business in CA? Why is it that finances were the trigger for Diane? I think Nicki hit a nerve.

Diane just bought a house in southern California. No way was that cheap. She may well have money she accumulated over the 20 years or so and invested it wisely. She did look shocked to be accused of going after any money Kyle might have. It’s very possible that Diane might have wanted to keep Keemo’s house in the family so that someday Kyle or Allie could have it.

When Nikki very loudly to be overheard by people (and was) called Diane a murderer and gold digger to embarrass her, I really wanted Diane to reciprocate by very loudly saying something like “well that coming from a stripper who married a wealthy man!” Sure not all of GC knows that Nikki was a stripper. I was not happy to see the slapping. I get that it’s soap stuff but there are too many reports of teenage girls physically attacking other girls.

Nikki should have just left after a few nasty exchanges but she kept it up so in a way she had it coming, however, Diane could have left as well. Why is it she's hanging around places wqhere she knows people from her past will show up? She knows full well that Sharon owns CL and that she is buddied up with Nick. She goes to the park waiting for Kyle to show up again but Tracey caught her. Tracey...who gives everybody a chance is still skeptical and told her she needs to prove herself and even Michael told her that. Does she really think Nikki will forgive her and, why should she care? Stay out of their spaces and away from them. If you are just after Kyle, then lay wait in a different location. Looks like Victor saw the whole thing. Now she has to deal with him. She should have just walked away.

Given how Nikki has never liked Sharon and Sharon is divorced from Nick for some time, Diane probably thought Nikki wouldn't be slumming it at CL which we know is located in the warehouse district. Guess GC doesn’t have any Starbucks.

I seriously doubt that Diane cares if Nikki or Victor forgives her.

Diane must know that Sharon and Nick are spending time together, afterall, she was at the wedding and watching everyone...uninvited. She also ran into Nick there when he was waiting for Sharon. So why did she need to be in that particular coffee house? Of course she wants forgiveness...from everybody, not just Kyle. She even said it to Nikki at their first meeting in her hotel room. I also don't think being in CL is exactly what you would call "slumming".

I haven't seen today's episode yet (I still need to catch up), but I did see the previews of Diane and Nikki's catfight. And while I don't condone violence, I am laughing (and cringing) at this spat.

That said, Nikki has a tendency to project her own insecurities and flaws onto other women. She accuses Diane and Sharon of her own behaviour (coming from humble/modest beginnings, etc).

I see no reason why they can't slap each other with their age.

Also Victor was the one who initiated contact with Nikki not the other way around. I buy Nikki loving Victor.

Yes Victor did initiate contact with Nikki and Nikki did start falling for the high roller in her strip club who I think more or less paid for her to get out of stripping. I’ve only seen very limited flashbacks from her stripping days and seen a few classic episodes of her early interactions with Victor (who kept his real identity from Nikki for sometime likely to make sure he wasn’t the target of a gold digger).

Anger and violence is never okay, and both women should be past that stage in their lives, conducting themselves in a more mature manner.

Two women in their 60s in a cat fight is of no interest to me.

A cat fight between these two women is EXACTLY what I would expect of a show where men are in charge at every level.

I thought it funny that Diane slaps Nicki, and when Nicki slapped back, Diane looked surprised and offended, lol.
