What gives the Newmans the right to demand people leave town?

The Newmans are so arrogant and judgmental. What gives Victor with his shady past the right to get all huffy and threatening and demand Ashland leave town? And how many people has Nikki killed yet she puffs up and tells Diane to get out of town. The Newmans are so rude and arrogant they are insufferable. I wish someone would successfully put them in their place for once.

I am hoping Ashland does stick around. He was right about Victor's past and being forgiven. I was hoping Ashland knew about what Victor did to Jack to throw it in his face. As bad as faking illness. The collateral damage was more far reaching. Ask Phyllis.

If you are the victim you have every right not to want to face your victimizer on a regular basis.

Phyllis was victimized by Victor and she makes sure that her run-ins with Victor are limited. Nothing wrong with that.

Ashland comparing his situation with Vicki to Victor and Nicki has a huge flaw. Yes, they've both needed forgiveness. But Victor and Nicki were able to establish a relationship BEFORE Victor messed up. That means when Nicki was deciding whether or not to forgive, she had memories and feelings based in truth. Ashland doesn't have that with Victoria. Ashland's been lying since the day they met. Everything he says in questionable. That's a huge difference. Ashland is trying to withdraw from an empty account.

Nikki was way over the top with her confrontation of Diane today. I get that Nikki hates her, but honestly, why confront her at all? I remember back when their "feud" started, and Nikki was the one who instigated it. I'm certainly not calling Diane a saint, because she's not, but Nikki gave as good as she got in that rivalry. And it's the same with Phyllis. She has done things that were just as bad, if not worse, than Diane has done.

I thought the deal with Ashland was that he would leave. Don't see much of a storyline for him
right now. Sure hope Vicky wises up where he is concerned. Diane is a different thing cause
she can stay around at least don't think anyone can make her go.

I agree. Victor and Nikki act like they own the town. They can't demand Ashland, Diane or anyone they don't like, leave town. Victor is like a Nazi Dictator anyway.

Victor, Nikki, and Phyllis are among those who demanded people leave town. All three have demanded Diane leave and Phyllis demanded and tried to ship Sally off out of town. So high and mighty and better than thou! Ridiculous!

Diane does not have anything to do with the Newmans during this current trek to GC, so why is Victor threatening her? He needs to go back to the barn, put on his boxing gloves and beat on his heavy bag. Diane is not interested in anything Newman, and yet Nikki and Victor have the need to threaten her to leave town. Who the heck do these people think they are?

Then there's Phyllis. I'd love to see her with duct tape over her mouth for once. I wish Diane would pack her bags and go to the GCAC. Even if they never show the GCAC, it would be a pleasure not have Diane interact with Phyllis. Who does Phyllis think she is anyway? She needs to take a hard seat.

I agree that Diane’s return is all about the Abbott family; however, Diane’s stunt of faking her death affected Nikki and the Newmans.

Phyllis, it’s is the same things with framing her for arson.

Diane could have avoided Phyllis by checking into the GCAC but she went right to TGP. Diane knew it’s Phyllis’ hotel.
