Is Lauren Trying To Create Problems Where There Are None...

Why is she trying to control Michael? Michael has always loved the thrill and excitement rolling with the big dogs. This is nothing new for Michael, it's not just work from Victor that brings risk to Michael.

Michael is capable of making his own decisions, and Lauren is being over bearing right now.

I can understand where Lauren is coming from because Michael was missing for days (or maybe it was supposed to be weeks) because of his work with Victor. She was scared to death and a person doesn’t just get over that fear when their loved returns safe and sound. I bet Michael would be acting the same way if Lauren had been missing.

Having said that, I see this as a start to trouble in paradise. Michael was really cold in dismissing Lauren’s feelings which is why she walked out on him. I bet he really gets mixed up with Diane.

Oh no… Michael can do so much better than Diane but I’m afraid you may be right nothing good comes from befriending Diane and I don’t see things turning out well for the Baldwin’s

Ultimately Likey will come out on top but I could see them splitting up for a bit and Michael and Diane getting closer.

I understand Lauren's concerns, but she has to let Michael do what he loves. He doesn't interfere with her career or choices she makes regarding her business, and I know Lauren was not put in danger, but I am just saying... I will really hate it if they break up this fine couple over Michael still working for Victor. Michael and Lauren have a good thing here so I hope their marriage will stay intact.

Like other's have said, with Michael's recent disappearance because of Ashland, I understand where Lauren is coming from with this situation. I wish they would give her more to do than argue about his next career path but some Lauren on screen is better than no Lauren on screen so I will take it. Maybe she will get more scenes with the potential buyout of the company that Summer works for.

IMO, what Lauren can't do, is start hating the kind of man she's married to, or try to change him. Lauren may have forgotten Michael's past and parts of his true nature, but that doesn't mean they're not still apart of him. What does it matter how she loses Michael, rather his love for risk taking, or she ends up running him off, or walking out on him?

She doesn't have to support his needs to be in the game, but she shouldn't turn away from him either. This doesn't have to be a make or break them situation, it could be a highly fueled discussion yeah, but walking out on him, nawwww...

Michael told Lauren he was going to retire as DA and have more time to spend with her. He didn't say he was leaving the DA job to work for Victor so I get where she is coming from. At the same time I see where Michael is coming from as he loves working for Victor and when he asked Lauren if she would leave her job, she wouldn't do it.

I won't be surprised if there is trouble in paradise and I will be okay with it if that is what it takes to get them more story. I had wanted Jack and Lauren to get together but sadly I doubt that will happen now. I think Likey will be fine in the end but if they have some trouble along the way and it brings story, I am okay with it.

I was sad at their terse conversation in CL. I don't think I remember the last time they came that close to an argument. I love them together, but wouldn't mind the writers shaking things up. The scenes Lauren had with Ashland were interesting. She dissed him, but in that brief moment, they looked good together. Same with Ashland and Diane. Diane and Michael might be interesting, but we all know Phyllis will have a FIT if Michael goes there. All in all, I'd rather they stay together, but if it gives CLB and TB more screen time - bring it on!

Michael isn't going to forget what Ashland did to him, anytime soon. Lauren probably better get over it and get on board.
Maybe if she helps her husband take Ashland down, she can keep an eye on him and that will make her feel better.

I understand how both Lauren and Michael feel. I would rather they join together in figuring things out. Why can’t married couples be more interesting? Have them work together in a mystery or a case. She needs to tone it down, it’s like she’s giving him an ultimatum, she doesn’t want to stop working and neither does he.

'Cause that's what Lauren does. She's an ultra-drama queen! Michael retired as D.A. so they could spend more time together. However, she's still going 24/7 at Fenmore's. He asks her if she's gonna slow down, too. She doesn't answer 'cause she's not going to. So, he takes a job w/Victor and she sweats him 'cause he's not sitting around waiting for her to have time for him? GOH!! I understand that she cares what happens to her hubby, but did she forget who she's married to? Michael can handle himself!

Yes, I agree with this. The excuse to retire and spend time together is just lame. He gaveher option to retire herself and go somewhere else to live as she suggested but..she won't retire. They are both too young for that anyways. Michael assured her there would be no danger now but that's not good enough. The only thing I see is Michael getting taken up with Diane and cheating on Lauren. Michael will be such a loser if it comes to that. He will lose his wife, lose his position and trust with Victor and lose the respect of everyone in town.

Lauren is being the mean girl spoiled brat that she is. But Michael has always loved and accepted Lauren for who she is. But they’re older now, so maybe Michael is looking for something more stimulating than being a civil servant. Working for Victor fits that need.

“Likey” is a veteran couple and maybe tptb are gonna shake ’em up a bit I honestly don’t see Michael cheating w/Diane. To my recollection, Michael has never cheated in their marriage, Lauren has always been the cheater

Lauren is treating Michael like her son. Talking at him and giving him orders
