I think this would be a brilliant idea, since Esther has been talking about finding a man, I think it should be Ashland! I feel that these two will make a great couple and Esther can help cheer Ashland up and will make Victoria jealous. I just hope that Ashland will respond to Esther's profile on her dating app. What do you all think about this idea?

How about Ashland and Phyllis? Phyllis tends to dominate men............it would be interesting to see her with a man who is dominating, too. Ashland can take over scenes as he's been shown with Victoria and Victor and Adam and others. But, of course the regime will not want to put Phyllis against a man who will stand up to her and will not take it from her. She dominates Nick (Nick tends to disappear around her as shown over the years). Jack has been made into a wimp by this regime so now Phyllis is his protector from other females (Diane and before that, Sally). -
How about Ashland and Diane? They both have Harrison in common and both probably hate the Newmans, so why not?
I'll tell you why not. Ashland is in love with Victoria and after having recently been married to her, no other woman will compare in Ashland's eyes. So if he does team up with any other woman, it will certainly just be to stick it to the Newmans or the Abbotts, or both.
Ester will no doubt end up with yet another gardener or handyman, or some other blue-collar type of character.Comment

Oh, I like that! Jill has always been one of my faves and she would be time enough for Ashland! And she would be an asset as he rebuilds his empire. -

Don't see Ashland for her especially since she tends to end up with men who ultimately hurt her. I would though like to see her find a good guy. Well apart from the fact that Ashland is still in love with Victoria, pretty much all of GC (including names mentioned here) hate him, apart from Diane of course.
I also can't see him spending time right now in pursuing another relationship.Comment

Unfortunately, I've never liked the character of Ester and the flashbacks last week reminded me why. She's always come across as so clueless and I don't like women being portrayed that way. Also, it always irked me how long they had her remain in that maid's uniform. I get wanting house staff to wear a uniform, but that traditional maid get up was just so much cringe. I really don't see Ester in any front burner storylines at this point. I'd rather them do better with all the characters they currently have on canvas.Comment
