Well, it seems these two past friends just jumped into a new phase of their relationship... I guess "going slow" wasn't going to last... at least while Dianne is watching.

Or could it be Phyllis is obsessing over Diane looking at Jack with starry eyes? Phyllis has never matured in a healthy way, she is childish, undisciplined, uncontrolled, and obnoxious.. This is what Jack hopes for? No wonder he has been so unlucky in the romance dept. He chooses losers, but he really loved Luan, and she is gone.Comment

I really do believe Jack and Phyllis did take it slow so it makes perfect sense for me that they finally gave in to their feelings they have been suppressing for some time now. I am hoping this is the beginning of a wonderful relationship for them this time around.
I have to admit though, I didn't like how Diane had to say that comment about the timing to Jack because the look on Jack's face looked like he was wondering if there is any truth to that... at least that's what it looked like to me. This may just put a whammy on their renewed interest in one another.Comment

Let’s see if Phyllis looks at her new bed partner as a move to keep Diane out or away from Jack and the Abbotts. That will be the answer as to why now.

As a Jack fan I've NEVER wished that ginger haired harpy on him! I've never seen ANY chemistry between the two. I've despised her since she first came to GC and latched on to Danny, therefore driving a wedge between him and Cricket. And she hasn't matured one iota since then. She's still the EXACT same person she was all those years ago. -
I loved Phyllis with Jack in early days. Loved Phyllis. Loved Shick! Loved Phick when they were an affair. But always wanted Shick. Once Phick was married they were awful. It's the way the characters are written for me. Shick was so beautifully written and JM and SC chemistry was so good. They are the top 3 Super Couples on Y and R. Nicki and Victor, Sharon and Nick and Phyllis and Jack. Honorable mention to Lane.
Show needs to create Legacy couples. Who is young generation of couples.
Adam and Sally have created the biggest stir in a long time. Skyler has a good fan base, nuSummer might add even more. Victoria and Ashland have huge potential and IMO heating up now that the secrets are out.

Speculation: Phyllis wants Dianne excised from her perceived "domain," at any cost. Phase I: Blocking access through Jack by intimately engaging him, in case he softens towards Diane. Phase II: Using Summer to block access through Kyle. Jack will become collateral damage. "Phack" love? LOL!! I don't think so
Yet to be seen: How Diane will outmaneuver Phyllis' obvious attempts. It will be fun to watch!

But Sally with Adam is not a good comparison, I believe, since they took it rather slow, too. I mean, he did, as she was willing to jump his bones the day they first met. I guess with Adam and Sally it seems like they were rushing because the sex on the desk portion of their relationship started immediately. But they are also 30 years younger and more flexible, so...

I love the relationship between Phyllis and Jack. They have a warm friendship and trust one another. Each one has the other's back. Jack a,ways calls Phyllis
out when she goes too far. She is willing to take it from him without being resentful. Chemistry plus.Comment

I respectfully disagree! There chemistry to me is very real. Jack is a gentleman, he treats Phyllis with respect. Phyllis loves being adored. Jack knows who Phyllis is and he makes no apology for her. I like that at the wedding he suggested she leave Diane alone so the wedding would not be disrupted. She considered his advice but she did what she wanted but didn't make a scene. Phyllis is more adult with Jack and I like that.Originally posted by Olivia'92 View Post

Total agreement. I loved their original love story so their current relationship makes perfect sense to me. They are comfortable with each other. Phyllis goes too far and Jack gently reels her back in. They sorta bicker like a married couple but the tenderness comes immediately back. Example: Phyllis got irritated with Jack at Society but back at the house when Jack needed the hug after Kyle left the room she was right there beside him. -
Yes you described Phack perfectly. Phyllis was just Nicks' Ms. Right now, nothing substantial besides the bedroom.

Their OG love story doesn't get enough talk. They were from enemies to lover. They lost a child together and have always been best friends. Did Phyllis love Nick and Danny? Of course she did but i feel Jack is her ultimate love. We've seen them deny their feelings for 6 months. MS and PB have it in spades. I like those kids and their love scene.
