I really liked her. Seemed like a seamless transition to me and thankfully she and Michael have chemistry. I will miss Hunter but think I am also really going to like Allison in the role. I hope Summer and Allie will become friends. -
I love new Summer… as much as I miss HK I’m liking AL in the role and I think she’s a breath of fresh air
It’s a nice change to see characters like Summer and Allie and I agree… I hope they form a nice friendship… I think it’s off to a great start so far and hopefully Summer can help make a love connection between her brother Noah and Allie

I will give her a chance grow in the role. I think the EP made a good decision on the recast especially when I heard who else auditioned. I could not see that person in the role.
I would like to see Summer and Allie form a friendship. And I wish the writers would move past this angst between Summer, Mariah and Abby. Those scenes were cringe worthy especially Mariah’s snark about Summer in front of Jack. Just move on.Comment

I really do like Hunter King as Summer, but I have to say the new Summer fits right into the role perfectly... It would appear that Summer and Allie will become great friends which will probably rub Abby the wrong way. I look forward to seeing what the new Summer does with the character.Comment

I was never a fan of HK's Summer. So far, I like the new actress, so we will see how she is written. I am not sure how I feel about the continued Summer VS. Mariah rivalry. They are basically step-sisters and Summer is married to Mariah's best friend, so it seems silly to have them still hate each other.Comment

This is the most I've liked Summer since her entire existence. The actress plays off a softer, mature and likable Summer.Comment

Yep maturity is a key. Summer was very despised for over 2 years. I think this Summer may be well liked but it's still early but she's seems smiley and mature. Summer is usually spoiled, unhappy and frowning.Comment

Haha I don’t know about very despised … that’s a bit extreme also unhappy and frowning sounds more like Mariah… I’ve always found Summer to be for the most part cheerful … you know when she’s not in a coma as a child from a whack job who knew she had a peanut allergy, when her paternity isn’t being switched by her ex step mom or when her mom was in a coma … I mean yeah she has a privileged life much the same as her siblings Noah and Faith and her aunt Abby ( who imo is the biggest spoiled brat on this show) but I wouldn’t say she’s any more despised than other characters like Mariah or Tessa or anyone else for that matter… each have their fan bases and also have people who may not like them… we all prefer different characters for different reasonsLast edited by couplingchick; May 17, 2022, 09:07 PM.
