It'd be interesting to see the Abbott men with a brother-in-law. It would be nice if Traci/Steve could also rekindle their relationship and how about an idea where Tessa is Steve's niece or something. It could be interesting. It'd be nice to see Jack, Billy have a male in-law as well. If Traci is going to be on, I'd like to see her get a story.

I have posted this before but I would love to see a blue collar handyman show up at the Abbott mansion with a list of things to do. He has run ins with Traci - all misunderstandings - and considers her to be a spoiled rich girl. She does her best to prove she isn't a spoiled brat - but more friction occurs. Of course - eventually they see through their mistakes and sparks fly again

Oddly enough because Traci is a more regular person she is hard to pair up. She is also related to major characters . I wouldn’t put her with a Newman even if there was one I could see her with he would need to be an outlier even within the Newman family to even consider it.
I don’t know if Steve would add anything at this point. I wish they would bring in someone for her that would be good for her and interesting enough. Too bad this isn’t one of Wally Kurth’s shows . He would be a good fit with Traci and the show.

Early on, Traci was written differently which is how she ended up with Danny (short term story) and Brad. Brad was not squeaky clean but Traci was written to be more venerable. The writers have made her “too good” so that it would no longer be believable that she could fall for a scoundrel. The show tried with Cane but it fell apart.
Maybe the answer is Steve but the show would have to commit to another recurring character. The problem with Traci and Steve is their story mostly took place off screen. Traci would pop in for some scenes but Steve always had some business reason to stay behind in NY.
