I've been wondering about that. He is taking Allie's word for it that she is Keemo's daughter. Is she really? Maybe she was married to Keemo and has some other sinister plan for Jack? Maybe she is just someone who did harm to Keemo? I think if/when she shows up and if she wants a relationship, I would get the test done to make sure.

Maybe not right away, but please have Jack get a DNA confirmation before he puts Allie in the Abbott Family Will. Good grief, he will probably just hand her a job, she can live in the mansion with him, he'll write her into the will, all with no questions asked.
Sappy Jack better check her out thoroughly. Or yes, Phyllis may have his back and run the test herself.

Yes, he should. Clearly, Jack hasn't learned ANYTHING about rushing to force strangers into the family (Re: Theo). You think he would've considered that since JG also wrote that long-lost relative storyline too.
Besides, Jack getting a DNA test makes too much sense, so you know JG is NOT going to do that.

Wow! What an EXCELLENT way to break the ice, w/the granddaughter you're trying to engage!Jack goes "searching" for answers about his dead estranged son, finds his granddaughter, and continues to act as if SHE has something to prove to HIM!!
The operative phrase is that "...Jack.goes.searching...," NOT the other way around. As I've said before, Keemo dodged a bullet by cutting his knucklehead paternal "family" OUTTA his life...

If it's ham-handed Soap behavior, JG is at the head of the line whacking away with a cartoon-sized mallet.
What a hack.

Originally posted by WorldTurner View PostIt anything. Allie is the one who should be asking for a DNA test to prove their relationship. She's not claiming she is an Abbott.
Ally didn't know Jack Abbott or his relationship to her until it was explained, And then she was shocked, denied Jack's version until she read Keemo's letters. She was smart to back away from Jack until she had time to sort out what she thought she knew about her father left an unknown.
Ally requesting a DNA test would eliminate many untoward questions from a variety of people questioning her intent and paternity.
