GC’s answer to Starbucks!
I recall a scene a few years back when Victoria was plotting to get Ashley out of her father's life and NE. Pretty sure Vikki was in the company’s coffee room. She was surprised her employees didn’t really like or want to associate with her.

I too remember the companies break room at NE. I think may be at Crimson's Light there's a variety of different kinds of fancy coffees and teas for them to choose from which is why they all go there and they don't have to make it themselves. I love Crimson Lights set. It really looks like a legit coffee house. It's so comfortable looking too!

There absolutely have to be common sets for people to interact on - otherwise everyone would need a house/apartment set, and an office set....and they simply don't have the budget or space for that....
I do think with the size of Crimson Lights and the lack of extras used these days it does make me wonder how they stay open - with so little business - but if they didn't have places like CL, Society, The Grand Phoenix...we'd just get people standing in hallways.
Thankfully it's not gotten as bad as the final years of Guiding Light when they did a lot of outdoor filming and you had press conferences given in fields, and a 'hospital' exterior that had a bank drive-through window, but some outdoor filming wouldn't be bad...it's just difficult to create an outdoor Wisconsin winter when you are filming in Southern California....Guiding Light was still in New York when they began the outdoor filming and used nearby New Jersey for their exterior sequences....
