I've been wondering....he's been floating around Peru by himself with Ashland knowing that. Will Michael be safe? Will he return to GC soon or will he turn up missing?

Now I have another thought. I wonder if Ashland will have Michael kidnapped and held hostage and use him as a bargaining chip against Victor's demands.

This is a good point because it would explain CJL absence while he does the off-Broadway show. And, it would give Lauren something to do even if it’s to worry about Michael and rant at Victor that it’s his fault Michael was in Peru.

Well then of course something bad most likely will happen to Michael. He's in a very dangerous place, far from home. Lauren has been worried from the moment Mikie said he was going to work for Victor again. Peru is no joke.
And if the actor is busy elsewhere (is it with that silly beard?), then no doubt they will have him be "missing" for a while.

These are all great ideas, but knowing the current writing team, I’m sure Michael will return to GC safe and sound without even a confrontation with Ashland about his discovery in Peru. With the current regime, I would be highly shocked if they wrote a front burner story for Michael Baldwin.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see Michael in a great storyline but it just seems doubtful with the current writers.

I hope Michael returns home safely. Ashland is covering up a huge secret that he doesn't want coming out for the world to know so having Michael kidnapped isn't so far-fetched. I just hope it doesn't go down like that and that Michael manages to escape anything dangerous that Ashland might have in store for him. I think may be Michael will go into hiding for a bit until the coast is clear for him to return.

If you look on the main page of this site it says Lauren worries about Michael and it also says something about Kevin hitting a dead end. To me, that means Michael is in trouble. I think Ashland will use him as a bargaining chip.
