Jack chooses Phyllis for his LA quest

Jack wants Phyllis to go to LA with him even though both Billy and Traci are ready to pack their bags. Billy says Phyllis is not family, so why is she here?
Traci beseeches Phyllis to put her own agenda aside.
Maybe Billyhas forgotten the torrid sexcapade he had with Phyllis when she was married to Jack?
How about the time Phyllis staged her own intervention at the Abbott cabin to clear Jack from pian killer addiction?

I absolutely hate Phyllis but she really does give the BEST shade!!
The crossed arms and body turn toward Billy, finished by the side eye was priceless when he said that she "wasn't family"

I love Traci but her concern didn’t hold water. She called Jack and Phyllis’ relationship tenuous. This is not accurate. They have a strong friendship which is what is needed right now. And Traci asking Phyllis to set what aside exactly? She acts like Phyllis has a romantic agenda which what is driving her to want to accompany Jack to LA. There is no doubt where Phyllis is coming from. But, I get it, Traci thinks she is the best person to be with Jack because she is concerned about what awaits them in LA.

Billy can take a seat.

I was a bit surprised that Billy and Traci offered to accompany Jack to LA. Billy? Seriously? He's worthless. I really thought he was downright rude to Phyllis too. He treated her like scum. Who the heck is he? He had a 2 yr long affair with her that began while she was married to Jack. He didnt think she was scum then, but now he does? He is the worst.

I actually thought, after Jack and Phyllis left, that Traci and Billy were going to make their own arrangements to fly commercial to LA to be there for Jack, whether he wanted it or not. But they didnt. Oh well.

And, I too, thought Traci was going to book two flights. I guess they know better than to show up at the Jabot jet.

I don’t know why Traci and Billy think that Jack can simply ignore the texts. Of course, Phyllis is encouraging Jack to find out what is going on. Heaven forbid he ends up like Billy trying to figure out why he can’t sleep.

Just on general purposes, Phyllis should be the "go to" person for anyone wanting answers. Phyllis Will Find Out. She has better investigative skills than the entire GCPD LOL.
I hope this trip gets them closer too. Will be nice to see them together again. I always felt that Phyllis with Jack makes her a better person. He doesn't try to change her, but his class seems to elevate her attitude and behavior. JMO

I dont think it was mentioned one way or the other. It was just an assumption that I think we all made. Why fly commercial when you have a private jet at your disposal?

Im sorry i just cant with this bullcrap that Phyllis has always had Jack's back How many times has she Screwed him over for Nick . Or about when she took over his company and he was devastated. Oh than lets not forget when they were married she had a full blown out affair with his brother . With friends like that who needs enemy's !

The only choice worse than Phyllis would have been Billy. Billy with hair trigger temper and the ability to jump to conclusions in a single bound.
