Chance said he would pay for a medical transport to take the baby over to Devon's apartment as soon as the doctors say it is safe to do so. Are you kidding me? This isn't the time for Chance to kiss Devon's butt by planning for Dom's sleepover at Devon's. The baby just had a bone marrow transplant for God's sake.

That was extremely weird to bring up at this time. I'd think Devon could give up one or two weeks of his one-night sleepover to let the baby heal at his home. Good grief, they are really making this even more unbearable.

There are no germs in Devon's house.The writers are doing all they can to portray Devon as a saint. The whole
Abby/Chance/Devon storyline is cringe-worthy. Do the writers actually want the viewers to swallow all the nonsense they're spewing? Looks like it.

Why do they continue with this bizarre storyline? Nate told them to take precautions and limit one person for now to see Dom. Chance is already talking about transporting Dom to Devon’s for one night sleepover. Devon doesn’t live that far from them, he can babysit whenever he wants to have alone time. To be fair, the lady doctor said she took some swabs or something, to go have checked at the lab.

And what about Amanda standing around while people keep saying it's such a "good thing that Dom has 3 parents". I know Amanda isn't legally anything to Dom, but she lives with Devon and takes care of the baby when he's there. That was really insensitive for Nate to say "3 parents", then Elena said the same thing at the coffee shop! They flashed to Amanda's face, but she just faintly smiled.

This storyline bites the big one. I'm ready for it to be over or backburnered or something, anything!

It looks like Chance will do anything to get that baby out of the house, even separating him from his mother while he is sick. If the baby just had to go Devon can pay for it. It is bad enough that Devon is considered the baby's father so I hope they don't make the sperm donor's girlfriend a parent too.

Chance brought it up first, saying he will pay for a medical transport for when the baby goes to Devon's house. Devon of course tried to decline and said he could pay for it. We all know they are all rich. Doesn't matter who pays for it, but it was weird for Chance to bring it up first.

I think Chance's wealthy ego is getting bruised by Devon throwing around all that money on hospital equipment and private nurses. Chance wants to pay for SOMETHING instead of just standing there sharing his kid with the sperm donor.

Hopefully, the writers have a reason for this dialogue because right now it doesn't make sense.

I'm not on the vilify Devon bandwagon. He loves the child period. I have no problem with that. The prudent thing to do would be for him to visit the baby.

So if the writers are having the baby bounced around from house to house with nurses and equipment after the docs told the parents (all three) that they need to be careful due to the risk of infection and Dominic ends up in the hospital then it makes sense. Why they would want to do that who knows. If not, it's just crazy writing for ALL of the characters - not just Devon.

I don't have any confidence that the writers have a plan. It feels like they've been making this story up day-by-day for the past year. Its like when children tell a story: "And then the house caught on fire, and then it turned out that a dragon did that, and then it rained really hard and the fire went out but everybody drowned, and then the dragon eggs hatched and there were three dragons......" and on and on.

I agree that it doesn't make sense to transport Dom to Devon's house during the child's recovery, especially if we're talking about a few weeks. But if recovery from a bone marrow transfer is a long process - like months - than it would be reasonable to make accommodations for visitation.

But yes, the whole dialogue between Chance and Devon seemed silly. I don't think that even Devon would want to uproot the child within a few days of his bone marrow transfer.

I think I missed the scene explaining why the baby is home after this procedure and not at hospital. If he is in that susceptible to infection why is he home?

Supposedly Devon brought in all sorts of hospital equipment, air purifiers (he called them something else), extra nurses, etc., to Abby's house. Devon said he has the same set-up at his penthouse. Like they are going to move an infant around who just had surgery.

The baby should have stayed at the hospital for a couple of days. This is so ridiculous.

As a mother, there's no way in hell I would have let Devon take my sick child out of my house and out from my care, the legal papers be damned!

I hesitate to even comment on threads about Devon/Chance/Abby/Dominic because I get so upset. Why WONT they fix this s/l?

Oh, and one more thing. I dont care a fig about Amanda and whether she was included on the "3 parents" comment. It infuriates me that she stuck her big bazoo into this and encouraged Devon to pursue legal rights to the kid while that nitwit, Christine, advised her clients that they had no rights and to just sign away custody. So Devon - the absolute best of the bestest father of all fathers in the history of time who loves his son more than any father has ever loved their child ever in the history of time is totally cool with risking his child's life so that he can get his visitation at his own house.

Nate cautioned them to be very concerned about infection and not go in all at once and (I assume) go through protocols similar to Covid before going in Dom's room so the baby is not exposed to germs, bacteria, etc. BUT BY ALL MEANS put the kid in a van and drive him to another home that is NOT the hospital!!

IMO the hospital is the ONLY PLACE that baby should be right now and they shouldn't have even taken him home to the mansion. Going anywhere is a risk. If it was my kid, he would be in a bubble in his hospital room like John Travolta in "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" but I guess the all wise, all knowing Devon with all his medical degrees knows MUCH better than all of us!

And before anyone comes at me that Chance suggested it, Im putting Chance in that category too! He's an idiot and doesn't care one bit about that kid.
