Sharon’s reaction to Adam and Sally

Why do the writers always remove Sharon from Adam’s orbit when he hooks up with someone new?

Chadam with Justin Hartley had barely any scenes with Sharon.
Now we have Sally and Adam. I guess Adam won’t see Sharon at all or let her know he is with Sally.

Adam basically told Sharon when he came back to give faith a kidney that she will always be someone that he cares for etc but can’t be with.

I wonder what Adam would do if Sharon came to him for support about something. Would he want to help her?

It always was clear to me Adam/Sharon were never happening. I don't se why Sharon needs to be in Adam's orbit, they are on different paths, they share no kids and they've never been actually friendly when they weren't romantic partners. The only time they were close was when MM was Adam. All other Adam's have a connection with Chelsea and I think Chelsea is the love of Adam's life. I think as long as Sally is around they'll play up Chelsea/Adam/Sally. Shadam is probably done for good.

If they wanted to do Shadam, now is the time. Nick has a good relationship with him, so does Nikki, Faith, Noah and he saved Faith twice. That is another reason why I think they axed them. No one is going to boo hoo with them being together. Sharon will always care for Adam but each time she is around him she's trying to fix him.

I personally want Adam/Sally and Nick/Sharon. Nick is the love of Sharon's life, not Adam.

I think Chelsea is the love of adam’s life, too. I bet the writers will do damage control and bring them back at some point. Nick and Sharon clearly are endgame.

I'm hoping Sharon and Sally will become cool with each other once Ray moves on with Chelsea. They will both have disliking Chels in common. Sharon could be a mentor with navigating the hypocrites in GC. She'll be with Nick and Sally with Adam. They'll both be targets of Phyllis shade.

Well I don’t think Chelsea is the love of Adam’s life at all. And ultimately I don’t think Nick will be the love of Sharon‘s life or maybe I should say he was her first love but not her love now. As for Sally I don’t think she’s anyone’s love yet, not Adams, not Jack’s and not the guy on B&B she was madly in love with that she kidnapped a woman over.

They do tend to keep Adam and Sharon separated from each other when they want Adam with someone else. I think they are afraid of the chemistry when they do scenes together no matter how small the scene might be. I distinctly remember them both being at that coffee shop in a scene and they don’t even so much as look at each other. It’s kind of amusing really.

Exactly, it isn't any of Sharon's business, just as who she is with is none of Adam's. They have no children together, and have no need to be part of the other's life.

Well, I've been a true Shick fan forever. I will say, though, that when it seemed like they might put Sharon and Adam together at one point, I was all for it. They have such great chemistry together. As for her reaction to Adam and Sally...Sharon should certainly have a reaction and it should be a negative one. Adam has turned his life around for the better. IMO Sally is going to drag him back down to the gutter of evil. Plotting and chaos. Not having Sharon reveal some reaction to this pair is just another example of lazy writing. I don't want Sharon and Adam together at this point, but I think something should occur that shows that Adam still has strong feelings for Sharon and I hope Sally sees this.

that does not mean that they would not see each other - everybody and their mama goes to the coffee shop at some point and yet they keep adam away most of the time. and chelsea is not the love of adam's life either in my opinion.

They shared scenes a few weeks ago. If they aren’t interacting regularly, it isn’t a big deal. I’m sure they’ll interact if/when Chelsea and Rey sleep together.

If we added up all of the screen time Shadam have shared going back to MM's portrayal, it would probably be a very small amount of time. They seem to pop into each other's lives at random low points or at times when it suits a plot. They aren't great loves and never really have been. When Adam died Sharon wasn't written to be greatly heartbroken over it, and before he died, she was all about Nick and he was building a life with Chelsea. When he returned (with JH as Adam's portrayer) they had one scene together, IIRC. Who Adam dates or doesn't date shouldn't be an issue for Sharon.

The writers are back to having Sharon and Adam barely interact and when they do it will be surface level and distant. I’m sure Sharon will learn about Adam/Sally and she’ll probably give one word of warning then say I hope you’re happy and keep pouring coffee.

I remember back when Sharon was really into Adam but finally realized he lusted after her but didn't love her. Of course, there's been some major reworking by the writers since that time, but that's how it once was between the two of them.

By the way, has anyone noticed just how much Adam looks like a young Errol Flynn? All he needs is a debonair pencil mustache and he and Errol could be twins.

I respect that there are Sharon/Nick fans who think it’s going to be great when/if they get back together. But as I said in another thread be careful what you wish for, because I think the above scenario is what’s going to happen.
I stand by what I said Nick is her first love and Adam is the love of her life. They are deliberately keeping t
them apart which they did before. I think it’s because they quite obviously have a tremendous amount of chemistry, and this writing team seems to run from chemistry and drama - truly an odd situation for writers of a soap opera.

This is absolutely nothing against CH or even the character of Sally, I really enjoyed her the brief time I was watching B&B during the depths of Covid. In many ways I think it was a mistake to bring Sally over from that show. She needed more time there, I think, to build a history, In my opinion. Adam and Sally seem to have been made out of whole cloth and a lot, a lotta effort. And as I’ve said in other threads I see the effort, I see the hard work. I don’t see any chemistry. And that love scene was one of the most awkward that I’ve ever seen, although I have seen more awkward and I’ll admit that.

The writers do seem determined not to use Sharon/Adam chemistry, again don’t have a clue why. But Adam and Sally are just not going to be a substitute for me.

Poor Adam if a cop poisoner is the love of his life. You'd think he'd learn something from a kind woman like Hope being his mother.

Boy oh boy, do I agree with you. I can't imagine Chelsea being "the love of his life" for anyone and especially Adam. I've never liked this character. And she's actually devolved in the almost 10 years she's been a character on this show. I'll never warm to her.

I love that the writers do this. Causes less speculation about stupid love triangles and gives the writers room to prove that Adam can have a viable relationship with someone other than Sharon.
