Did I hear right? If so I saw that coming. I would probably feel the same way being in the same room with my wife's child's biological father. For chance it's s detachment opposite of Mariah's attachment. I sense Devon is having second thoughts also.

CLOUDFARE Security Message
Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.
This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.
Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.
The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

I don't find it odd it the characters can't relate to this bizarre situation because I can't and I've had months. The awful story has been far-fetched from the second they had Devon be the donor.
I'm not invested in what ever comes of the baby be it be Chance's of Devon's. I just don't care. It's too silly. I'm more invested in his PTSD or survivors guilt..

I don’t like Devon because he always gives off the air that he is superior to everyone and all the praise heaped on him is over-the-top so I didn’t like his side-eyed look he gave to Chance when Chance stepped outside for some air. Devon is going to be watching Chance like a hawk and waiting for a chance to pounce with a lawsuit to attempt to claim legal rights.
Mariah is supposed to be treated with kid-gloves because she was kidnapped so Chance deserves the same after serving this country, getting blown up by terrorists and dealing with grief.
This story is one of the worst I have watched.

I have never seen Devon as acting superior either. He has been the only one in this story to show common sense. He has never threatened to take the baby away from Abby or Chance, in fact he has been nothing but supportive. Yes, he has bonded with the baby but who wouldn't. Chance, the "Special Agent" needs to decide whether he wants to be a husband and father or go out and save the world.

Chance did say my wife and my son, he has always expressed himself like this. People tend to forget that he was always in the loop about the whole pregnancy, he spoke to Abby on the phone constantly. He went deep undercover when Mariah was missing, at the time when everyone thought she was away to rest. He agreed to all the surrogacy maddness, too, and Abby video taped a lot of everyday life for him. And he seems to be bonding with his son just fine, he's just dealing with a lot right now.
Many fathers have a harder time bonding with their bio babies and some mothers do, too. It is never talked about but it happens a lot.Last edited by sparkk2chane; December 8, 2021, 12:34 AM.
