Now that I think of it, I do remember him giving Phyllis something to dry off with. In fact, I think Nick was watching them from the other side of the room when Jack did that.
I loved Elena's hair. As someone who prepandemic wore my short and curly; when going to an event it's a little bit harder to change your style from your normal everyday style than when you have longer hair. I would usually straighten my short curly style so it was a little different. It's much easier to change your style with long hair.
The men all looked very handsome. As for the women:
Lilly - perfect as always. She looks good in anything
Phyllis - didn't like her green shimmer dress and her hair was a mess
Sally- did not like the dress at all or her hair
Nikki - very elegant
Amanda - loved her green outfit with skirt and shimmery halter top. She's gorgeous!
Elena - don't like her hair at all. She would look so much prettier with a different do.
clamcat are you a fan of I Love Lucy by chance. There was an episode where she is trying to snuggle a whole bologna by wrapping it in a blanket and pretending it was a baby. Seems like they could get a doll at least. Someone suggested they haven't decided who the baby will look like.
When I was watching last week, I thought that Elena’s hair reminded me of someone but couldn’t remember who, and this morning it struck me: Josephine Baker, the entertainer who was also part of the French Resistance movement during World War II. Wonder if that was an intentional decision.
