Tara getting arrested is just a little too convenient for Ashland

Does this strike anyone else? Makes me think he knew about her company's issues and had something to do with the accountant flipping so easily

He did know about the company right when he came to town. He mentioned it a few times that his wife had a shoe business but he could't figure out why it wasn't doing very well. I wonder if it will turn out that he is also involved. Maybe Tara will hang him out to dry with her if he is guilty of the same thing

Maybe Ashland was involved in her embezzlement scheme. Tara may just rat on him to save herself.....IF Harrison IS Kyle's son, then with Tara in prison, and Ashland dying Kyle will get custody. But IF Harrison is not Kyle's son, who IS his bio dad? Maybe Theo? Theo may get killed off and Kyle & Summer adopt Harrison..... Or he may really be for Ashland, and on his dying bed asks Kyle to adopt and raise him just a thought.....would like for Harrison to be raised by Kyle & Summer.....

I hope Ashland isn't involved with Tara's scheme and I hope Kyle is really Harrison's father. IF it turns out that Ashland is Harrison's father, Harrison could end up with Victoria and her two kids. I'd like to see Kyle go off to Italy with Harrison to join Summer. That way, they may come back at some later date. I like seeing kids on the show and if Harrison leaves, Jack will be heartbroken, especially since Sally had her hand in the plot.

I think it’s all Tara. Ashland has said a couple of times that people don’t really know her. Plus, she never denied the charge was false. Lauren should have said fraud and embezzlement.

Tara said to Phyllis, my son is losing his father and you take his mother away. Freudian slip? Kyle is still there.

Actually maybe good point about fraud. Tara hadn’t given Lauren all the financials, the ones Nick and Phyllis claimed the accountant was doctoring.

Tara never did react much to the charges, just as a mother being taken away from her son. As for embezzlement of investor funds, what if it was her company and sole proprietorship. We never heard anything about a partner or investors before.

I’m sure Tara was talking about Ashland, not Kyle, and best she knows Ashland is dying and they’ve talked about how to tell him. So yeah as far as Harrison is concerned he’ll be losing his dad and now mom.

Well, Harrison calls Ashland “Father” and Kyle “Daddy” so I think Tara was referring to losing Ashland to his cancer.

I don't think Ashland would want to see the mother of his son in jail for years especially with what he's going through with his health issues. I just can't see how this would benefit Ashland having Tara go to jail.

I think Tara is solely responsible for the fraud and embezzlement. She is money hungry and she also knows how vindictive Ashland can be. It fits with her financial insecurities and sneaky personality.

IF Ashland is terminal and Tara is sent to prison, I think he will ask Kyle to raise Harry once he is no longer able to. OR someone else besides Kyle or Ashland is really the child’s biological father and that person steps up? Maybe even Tara’s estranged brother could take custody? Lots of possibilities.

I’m hoping Tara will be be back and in Phyllis’ face. Sole proprietor, her own money and charges don’t stick. However Phyllis hacking into Tara’s company’s computer system and her and Nick trying to set her up with the cops simply because Tara told Summer she’d move with Harrison if Summer didn’t take a job in Milan, well somehow think the legal system would not be on Phyllis snd Nick’s side. Lock her up.

Since Tara sold her shoes internationally, I am sure it was a corporation and not a sole proprietorship. That means the money was not hers. She wasn't setup with the cops. Her accountant flipped on her and told what was happening. Tara committed a crime and will pay. Fraud and embezzlement puts you in prison.

If Ashland knew anything about Tara's embezzlement odds are he would have used it to his advantage already. After all, Tara took Harrison from him and went off the Kyle. Had Ashland known I have no doubt he'd have sent the authorities immediately after Tara to have her arrested right then and there, then taken Harrison back. That's not to say he hasn't since found out maybe when Tara left him and betrayed him he started having some people check into why her company never made money. He found out, due to his health issues didn't find the opportunity to use it, then found out Phyllis was poking her nose around and made it possible for her to find out, its possible. Because I'm sure that before long Ashland would be swooping in to stake claim on Harrison after all he is still the little boys legal father.

I was really upset about the story going this way. What a load of crap the way Phyllis had Tara hauled off in handcuffs after all the horrible and illegal things Phyllis has done. I hate that the show did this and once again made Phyllis the heroine. I'm sick of it.

Harrison could easily have been in the room when they barged in with the police. He could have witnessed his mother being arrested. Maybe Lauren and Phyllis wouldn’t have been smirking so much if that happened.

Phyllis and Lauren came in first. If Harrison had been there, they could have asked Jack or Kyle or the housekeeper to take him elsewhere. The officers waited outside until the door was opened again.

I also agree. I don't think the guy is sick and I don't think he fell for Victoria at all. I think he will dump her right after the vows are taken and he will announce that he is now the owner of NE...until Adam enters and makes his own announcement that he was able to stop the merger from being finalised. Ashland then goes with nothing. I think this Harrison thing is also a scam and there is no way he will belong to Kyle.

I'd bet that Ashland knew something about it or has a hand in it so that he could get back at Tara for cheating on him. I also believe that Ashland will end up not being terminally ill and he'll use the merger to steal Newman Enterprises right out from under Victoria.

I like this scenario and if true then those of us who think (thought) Ashland falling for Victoria is not real. could possibly leave Victoria with the Liability of the Ashland/Tara fallout from a myriad of lawsuits., .... runs downhill or Up the Down Staircase. On another note, the 'love story' with Ash/Vic was done really really good. Love him!!
