  • Sally proving she's nothing but vindictive

She could have asked Ashland for that kind of big fancy fashion job for HERSELF instead of Summer, and gotten a chance at a fresh start somewhere else.

But no, all she cares about is sabotaging Skyle's lives and sticking around to gloat. '

Just proves to me that she's not a cutthroat career woman doing what it takes to get to the top, she's just plain nasty.

She is nasty and trashy and I really can't wait until the writers make her pay. Summer and Kyle have done nothing but try to ignore her and she is just gunning for Summer so much it is sickening. Go away Sally .. You are not wanted.

Don't like Skyle at all, but I dislike Sally even more. Always FF material to me. Send her back to L.A.

Feel the same way. Summer is just trying to live her
life and Sally is obsessed with Summer! She definitely
has carried that trait over to GC that got her in that
mess in LA. Like she said to grams the instigator, she
envies people that have more than her. I pray that
sometimes dumb Jack NEVER goes back to her!!!

This has nothing to do with Summer's issues. Sally came to town to sabotage Kyle's and Summer's relationship. She has always been a trouble maker.

She came to town for a second chance. Don't think she'd ever heard of Summer or Kyle at that point. She thought there was an opportunity for a job with Lauren. Summer was a snot to her the day they met, she was also a snot to Tara.

I've said it several times, that Sally has become a totally one-dimensional villain character that seriously needs an expanded persona on the show, or she will be one of the casualties
that are written out, like Theo. Too bad if that happens since this Emmy nominee has greater potential and could have more to contribute. She is a competitive athlete in real life
    and they could start there.

      I blame the writing team.
Letting Theo prop Skyle and than dumping him was a mistake.
Having Lola written for one month appearances just so summer and Kyle can get their ridiculous storyline.
SC landing a movie part and JG didn't use more of this amazing actress was laughable

I was looking forward to the character joining YR but after the first weeks when she turned up everywhere she has been almost absent. And she has been pretty obnoxious.

Another poster commented in a different thread that Sally might team up with Tara to get rid of Summer. Tara could have Kyle and Sally thinks with Summer gone that she will get her job, But what would be poetic justice is if they both end up at each other’s throats over Jack and neither one ends up with him or what they want.

Reminder...Sally didn't come to town to sabotage Summer. Sally came to town for a job and she didn't know that Lauren already had someone else in mind. When Sally came her, Summer didn't even have the job yet. Further, Sally didn't even know who Kyle was.

That said...can Sally be nasty? Yes she can. She also gives as good as she gets so while the focus is on Sally trying to get Summer a job out of town...let's not forget that this brainchild was formed AFTER Summer and Kyle threatened to tell Lauren that they blame Sally for everything and try to get Sally fired and run out of town herself.

Let's not act as if this fight isn't coming from both sides and frankly it never made sense in the first place. I still laugh at the idea of Summer protecting a job that was never at risk and a relationship that she is still not confident in. LOL

        Absolutely correct @WorldTurner
Summer didn't get the LA dirt until after Theo let her in on what Sally was up to.
Athecourt99 Summer didn't know what Sally had as far as leverage.
She got an ominous warning from Theo, and he didn't lie.

And why Summer and Kyle aren't gone to Lauren ? Because they know Lauren will not fire Sally for that since she didn't fire Summer for blackmailing Sally. Sally could say to Lauren Summer slapped her. And after the talk Lauren had with them, I doubt she'd appreciate one of her employees slaps another employee.

thecourt99 yet she was doing it when she was taunting Summer about Kyle, which she received that slap for.
And WorldTurner is correct. Sally never really stopped lurking and meddling. Even now she is at it again.

Sigh. Sally came for a job. She’s not doing anything the other ambitious females on the show haven’t done. Summer wanted a battle and she’s getting one. When you go out of your way to find dirt and dish it you have to be prepared for the arrow when it’s fired back. Victoria would draw blood in Sally’s shoes and show no mercy . Even Phyllis would do the same. Just because it’s Summer doesn’t make what Sally is doing some heinous crime.

I agree. Every chance Sally gets, she plots to get between Kyle and Summer and for what. Does she want Kyle for herself. She did say today that he is good looking and rich. When she approached Tara today with her plan to get rid of Summer, that made me dislike this character even more. All Sally thinks about is Sally and no one else. She doesn't care about how her actions hurt innocent people. Summer earned her position at JVC. Summer worked at Jabot and proved herself which is why she got the job at JVC so why does Sally think she can just stroll in and claim that job for herself. I still haven't seen anything Sally does when it comes to real work. All I see Sally doing is working to get between Summer and Kyle, as well as working to get summer out of Genoa City. If I had a company, I wouldn't want the likes of Sally working in it at all.

Summer has this job because Lauren wants it. JVC is a division of Fenmore's now and Lauren owns the majority of Fenmore's, it's her legacy and she runs it. No matters Summer worked to Jabot, if Lauren wants to fire Summer she can do it. I don't see Summer working, she just is there.
Summer started this war with Sally. Phyllis wanted Sally fired, and Kyle blames the mess he created on her. Yes all humans would want revenge. The only thing Sally shouldn't do is to go to Ashland. The real enemy isn't Sally but Tara and I can't wait to see that burning in the faces of Kyle, Summer and Jack, they deserve it.

Kyle blamed Sally for the part she played - threatening, antagonizing, plotting and being an all around pest.

If Summer hadn’t gone to LA and threaten to use Sally’s past against her with Lauren, and if Phyllis hadn’t bent over backward to go to Lauren and try to get Lauren to deep six her as well as set Jack against her. I don’t think Sally would be trying to send Summer away. Sally had found happiness in her elevated job position with Fenmores and was enjoying spending time with Jack. When you take away everything that someone values, well look out because they have nothing left to lose. That’s how I see Sally right now.

You're right. Summer started it. Yes Sally said she want the Summer job, not big deal and Lauren knew and said she loved Sally has ambition. Summer used a business trip to find dirty on Sally and was ready to use it against Sally but Sally found out Kyle could be the father of Harrison and said she'd say it if they talked about her past, and Kyle didn't want that. If this 2 spoiled brats think they can threaten, blackmail, then others can it too.
And Sally wouldn't try to send Summer away if Kyle and Summer didn't blame her for the mess Kyle created. The real enemy isn't Sally but Tara and when this 2 idiots will realise it that will be too late.

Summer and Kyle had their fair share of the blame here too. But dumb and dumber just didn't let it go.

Sally started it by asking Theo for dirt on Summer to keep her from getting the JCV job. Theo warned Summer and that is what made Summer get the dirt on Sally. Summer had no intention of using it unless Sally continued. It was months later before anything came up about Tara and Harrison. Summer had not used the info but Sally chose to blackmail Kyle anyhow.

        I said the same.
When she was outlining the job to Ashland, I was thinking, you silly dame, that is YOUR dream job and you'd rather push someone else into it than take it yourself?

You're absolutely right! Sally was totally above board until Summer and Kyle threatened to run her out of town. Yes, Sally knew about Harrison, but she said NOTHING about him. She kept her mouth shut the entire time. It was because the 2 twits that think their s**t smells like roses got so insecure over Sally, they had to sabotage everything she had going for her. I don't blame her one bit for partnering with Ashland. She got backed into a corner, and instead of wimpering away she decided to strike back, to stick up for herself.

Vindictive is a strong desire for revenge. Look the word up. It doesn't matter who did what. The fact remains that Sally lives and breathes revenge and getting rid of Summer. She tells her aunt half the story, her side. worst of all she is still trying to charm Jack minutes from plotting against his son.

She is sick and the source of her own problems.

You act as if Skyle were so blameless in all this, which they aren't. Sally is someone you can only push so far before she'll push back her history on B&B proves that one. Flatt used and abused her acted like her feelings didn't matter at all only what they wanted. Sally retaliated on them in a way that I can't say I agree with but given her character understood because she was pushed way too far by those unfeeling individuals but somehow it all became her fault. Sally was willing to let bygones be bygones with Skyle she was willing to call a truce, they didn't like her getting close to Jack exposed the half baked story that Felon Flo told Summer, yet Sally still didn't say a word about Harrison or Kyle's lurid affair.

Tara comes to town looking a wreck wanting to see Kyle and Sally told her where to find him. Suddenly all of it exploding in Skyle's face became Sally's fault when she did something with no malice but they saw her as doing them wrong, they were the victims. Sound familiar sure does it was Flatt all over again. So, Sally had enough she reached another breaking point and now she's decided that if Skyle wants to blame her for everything she might as well get down in the mud and give it back to them. She decided she wants that job after all, she decided to play dirty. But like Flatt, it was Skyle who poked the beast inside Sally way too many times acting like they could make her their scapegoat for all their problems so she decided to just be what they claimed she was. Again do I agree, of course not, but I understand yet again, Sally is the type you can only push so far before she pushes back in an ugly way.
