Possible Pairing: Lily and Adam

I say yes to this idea.

Adam needs someone who is not named Sharon or Chelsea.

Lily definitely needs someone not named Billy.

Will it be forever, who knows, but it will cause drama something Lily’s story lacks. And since they do not know each other that well. We may get to see her POV this time.

To me. the show seems very committed to Lily/Billy. I find them boring but the show seems to love them so I don't see them splitting up.

WorldTurner I used to love Billy and Lily as separate characters. I used to defend Billy’s foolishness a LOT on this board.


I even had hope for them together but they are just so dull and sanctimonious together. All they do is talk about Adam and have sex, they are fast forward material until Victor wrecks their lives.

Please no Adam and Chloe. I wouldn’t mind Adam and Lily for a few reasons. Lily could use some challenges and Adam could use a woman that won’t throw him under the bus. He thing is this would be the best time for Adam to have a relationship because he’s not led by his Victor hate anymore because he and his father actually get along. It appears he’s ready to exit the whole Sharon drama. And he’s trying to do better.

Another thread about Adam and some new woman? Don’t we have enough of these yet LOL. No need to worry about Sharon it would seem, so I think these threads aren’t necessary anymore.

You may get your wish about a new woman, they certainly don’t seem to want to use chemistry. Honestly they’ll probably just have Adam concentrate on business and then get him back with Chelsea the woman who tried to put them in jail. Chelsea is a protected character so I wouldn’t doubt it. And then all these threads I think would mysteriously disappear LOL.

I thought I was the only one thinking that a possible Lily and Adam pairing could be good if written well. I mentioned Lily and Adam as a possible couple within the "messy soap affair thread".

Billy will cheat on Lily with Victoria, which will give Lily motivation to join forces with Adam and Victor to take down Billy and Victoria.

I think that despite Lily and Victor butting heads regarding Billy, Victor likes Lily and wouldn't mind Adam and her being together, especially if Lily turns on Billy. It would be interesting to witness a Adam, lily, and Victor alliance. I want to see "bad woman" Lily emerge and cause some damage and Adam would be the perfect ally for the job. The character of Lily needs more development and her slowly turning into a villain with the help of Adam and them developing an intimate relationship in the process would be a good way to do so.

Victor seems fed up with Victoria and her being with Billy would ruin their relationship even further, so I don't believe that Victor would be too heart broken if Victoria becomes collateral damage.

Adam and Lily would make a good looking pair on screen as well.

I am all in for Adam and lily.

Adam is single. While, eventually, I think it will circle back to Chelsea/Adam, she's currently in the psych ward and wants nothing to do with him. So I don't see the harm in speculating what's next. I'm not opposed to Lily/Adam but I don't think it would be much different than Billy/Lily.

I do think Chadam is def. the plan. Adam is already calling Chelsea. Chelsea will eventually forgive him.

What I read is that Adam becomes involved with someone who is in law enforcement or is in some other ancillary legal profession. I couldn't think of a circumstance that Y&R could develop to set that in motion, but then I remembered that he was involved with Heather early on and she was an attorney IIRC. They could have her return at some point.

I can't in any circumstance imagine that they'd pair Adam with Chloe. They both despise one another. Adam could barely tolerate Chloe and Kevin back in the day, and the debacle with Delia would make it impossible (IMO) for the writers to try something so ridiculous. I can't see them trying to pair him up with Tara or Sally for that matter. This iteration of Adam hasn't had him cross Jack's path much but I don't see him poaching a romantic partner away from Jack, though Jack's involvement with Sally has seemingly come to an end.
