CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

Jeannie Cooper ( Katherine ) had dual citizenship and was proud to return to Canada to vote in federal elections. I'm pretty sure she voted Liberal
    but I'm open to corrections.
I thought Jason Thompson was from Edmonton Alberta.

JT worked in Edmonton as a waiter, but he was born in a suburb just outside of Edmonton.
Nathan Fillion was born in Edmonton. He went to the same middle school as me but at a different time.

I remember seeing Jeanne Cooper somewhere outside of Y&R. I don't think I met her in person. It might've been when she accepted an award on TV. She talked a lot about her son Corbin Bernsen. She was really proud of him.

There are more Canadians in Hollywood than there are in Canada! Many of our top movie stars are also from Canada.

Not Y&R related, but the creator of DAYS Ted Corday was from Winnipeg... and both Ted Corday and Donnelly Rhodes were from my hometown. Donnelly Rhodes passed away in hospice care in Victoria, British Columbia. And I used to watch Tonya Lee Williams on the show The Polka-Dot-Door before she came to Y&R.

I thought Tyler Johnson was American. His bio said he was born in Washington DC and grew up in Maryland.
Tyler Johnston from Letterkenney is Canadian. It's Johnston with a T.
