I Loved Phyllis and Billy's Scenes Today (9/29)

I liked their scenes and I especially appreciate Michelle Stafford’s acting today. I did not expect her voice to break when begging Billy to back off.

But unless I missed something, Billy was unnaturally cruel to Phyllis once he realized she no longer wants revenge.

Michelle Stafford brings it in every scene she is in. Her scenes with Amanda yesterday were also so emotionally real.

I guess Billy was trying the " cruel to be kind" approach with Phyllis, since he knows her very well. As well as any man can. When she said she was now different, that
she was no longer vindictive and petty, I kept thinking how she behaved with Abbey over the GP recently.

        Well said!
Michelle Stafford is a very good actress, she had several scenes lately that were very good.
That being said, the only reason Phyllis has given up on revenge is because she has everything she could possibly want: The hotel and Nick. Of course she hasn't changed a bit, if she's ever backed into a corner again, she will go back to her old self.

Yes. The cruel part was Billy saying " it was in her DNA".

I didn't think that Billy was any crueler to Phyllis than she's been to him on multiple occasions. She has proclaimed to have "changed" many times before, but whenever she doesn't get what she wants, she reverts back to being her same vengeful, scheming self. Billy was right...it's just in her DNA to act that way.

On the flip side, currently Billy has no reason to go after Adam or Victor other than that he is bored.

          That's the point I believe.

Perhaps Billy is hoping to win Vikki back? ?‍♀️

We all know Billy will lose and do something dumb. I get Phyllis trying to get him to avoid that (for once). ?

It seems like every scene Phyllis is in lately she gets really emotional, are the writers trying to mature her a bit? Or is Phyllis the character going through menopause? I’d also like to think that what Sharon is going through made her see life different now and should be more cherished than always being vindictive or ruthless towards others. It was like she was trying to tell Billy to let that hate towards Adam go before it destroys him internally.

I had to pause my screen and yell when he mentioned Phyllis sleeping with Nick. Idk what anyone says Billy is a whole pedophile. He literally was Summer's uncle. He watched her grow up for zero to 20 something. Idc what Phyllis has done to him. It'll never be as bad as what he did. I do wish Phyllis would tell Victoria..

Billy slept with Summer so he needs to keep his judgement to himself.

Billy's an ass. I have no use for him. I'm annoyed that Phyllis can never throw his one-night stand with Summer in his face.
