Nikki admits to Bobby she arranged everything for Joshua's funeral because she thought it was too much for him. Bobby says he can understand that but why did she have Brittany lie to him?

Brittany telling JT she's pregnant. She couldn't tell Bobby, although she wanted to.

Kevin comes home to a waiting Michael. McKenzie drove him home. Kevin had a sessions with Dr. Woods; they had a good discussion. He's glad he finally went to see her but other than that, he doesn't divulge anything..

Nick visits Victor at work.He didn't come before because Sharon didn't want him to. He asks VIctor why he told who was paying her. .

Jack comes home to an upset and crabby Ashley. She spoke to Brad, who had something nice to say about Victor.

So many stories and characters in one episode! It’s remarkable how many concurrent stories are featured in these older episodes.

I know! I was thinking the same thing. Between the many stories going on, and the multiple sets it really shows how bland today's sets and smaller stories can be.

Can't wait to watch now. I am immensely enjoying past episodes and even though each week is a certain theme, we are seeing other stories and other past characters, it is diverse episodes. And, the sets, way bigger and wider and it is not claustrophobic feeling (as it is now).

I loved Nicki and Bobby! I liked Brittany with Bobby too though.

Nikki and Britney both danced on stage at a men's nightclub. Britney danced and used a chair to kick up her legs at Bobby Marscino's nightclub, too. Kevin, first made his first appearance there, too, as an accountant at the nighclub. Kevin also almost electrocuted Britney, too, if I remember correctly, he finagled with the electrical wires on stage or something.

I loved Bobby and Brittany. Great actors with a lot of appeal. Forgotten how their storylines ended but they were great on the screen.

Lauren was kind to Kevin and only "dated" him to get him to confess to his crimes. Kevin found out it was a ruse and nearly shot himself in front of Lauren, IIRC.

Did Kevin say last valentine he and Lauren were together? Did i hear that right? Um what?

I remember he had a crush on Lauren but I don't think they were ever involved. I could be wrong.

Brittany says she was on the pill, but she must've been too stressed and forgot to take a pill. She's not sure if she's ready to have a baby. She's very scared. JT tries to reassure her, but she vents about Nikki and her influence over Bobby. She doesn't think they're having an affair though. She worries about the future and JT hugs her.

Nikki tells Bobby to blame her; she had insisted Brittany lie to him.

Michael says he's there if Kevin ever wants to talk about it all. Kevin says it meant alot to see Michael waiting for him after the session. He says he's going to change big time!!! He gives Michael a thank you present.....a Wisconsin lottery ticket!! Michael asks how he and McKenzie are doing. Kevin reports she is ready to stand by him. Michael reminds him that he should be doing the therapy for himself. Kevin says that's what he's doing, but also for her. Valentine's Day is coming up and he wants to show her how special she is. He goes out for a walk.

(Meanwhile, Devon is still with the friendly looking lion! But they're not showing us that right now....)

Shemar Moore got the same braids on from when he was on Tyler Perry's Diary of A Mad Black Woman movie... He must have been filming between Y&R and that movie around this time..It's cool to look back on these and notice things like that.

That's a very good point. One of the reasons why Victoria Rowell is no longer on the show is due to her complaints of discrimination behind the scenes. She also had issues with some of the other actors. Some of her complaints have proven to be true simply due to them being industry standard. Hair was one of those items that ended up being true. The studio or show provided stylists didn't really know how to deal with "ethnic" hair types. So the actors were left with a few choices. They can use the stylists there and risk a horrible hairstyle, or take care of their own hair at their own expense (which can be really expensive given the production schedule). VR would often use her own wigs and then hats (which became a bit of a signature for the character). It stands to reason that SM also used a wig that he was able to easily access.
