While Y&R lost nearly 2 million viewers, it is still beating original episodes of GH and Y&R in total viewers. So that is a good thing.

Not surprising , Y&R is too far ahead

Wish the ratings had been higher for these excellent episodes! I am totally enjoying seeing a well written Y&R!

Maybe it's because people that watch Y&R have seen these episodes before, and didn't care to watch them again....just a thought.

Y&R has been interrupted and destroyed by the media for weeks in the NY/NJ area.

And yet, YR were eroding viewers at an alarming rate with new episodes before everyone were forced to stay home. Clearly with great character driven storylines people WILL tune in even when they have other options of new shows elsewhere.

The Nielsen ratings system is the only one we have and it is accurate. This system also proves that better writing and production values increases ratings when compared to other shows, soaps and other wise. When viewers are given what they want, they tune in.
