Never heard of the Ron Clark character either. But I don't remember Ellen either. I must not have been watching regularly at the time.

Loved him as President Palmer on 24. I was shocked when he was killed. 24 was very suspenseful because any week anyone in the cast could die - well not Jack Bauer!

24 was friggin awesome! Stating the obvious, (as I do) it's the show that you cannot get attached to dang near anyone.

I got teary eyed when the show killed off Bill Buchanan. I loved him as the head of CTU.
