In the most recent issue of Soap Opera Digest, Tyler Johnson (Theo) tells Soap Opera Digest that Theo's feud with Kyle isn't over by a long shot. With Theo losing to Kyle and being fired by Kyle at Jabot only hardens his resolve to get back at Kyle.

ITA - Theo is so one note - always out to get Kyle and considered how well Jack has treated him to try and destroy Jabot would be disgusting behavior.
Really very tired of Theo wish he would go back to NYC or Timbucktoo or anywhere off my screen. Did anyone ever tell Theo NO growing up or before he came to GC, because it appears he is not used to hearing that word.Last edited by TexasTango; May 2, 2020, 05:24 PM.

Rooting for Theo to succeed here. What he overhead about the direction that Chancellor Media is looking to go will aid in how he gears his presentation to them. I thought it was helpful to hear from Mariah about how she saw from his time at HW that he could put together great presentations and campaigns. Hopefully it will help give him some of his confidence back that the utter failure in front of Jack took away. He’s a go getter and look forward to see how he lands on his feet. Succeeding in spite of Kyle and not the formal education Kyle had, would be great to watch. Still counting on Dina to come through in the end for her grandson with a huge inheritance. I bet Billy and Lily will give Theo a chance. I get the impression that Billy doesn’t care for Kyle. He also seems disdainful of Summer since she allowed him to use her.Comment

Billy’s opinion of anyone holds little value lol... he’s the king of making foolish mistakes and being just an all around complete mess... in some ways I see Billy as more immature than Summer and Kyle combined and really I don’t think many people other than his mommy Jill actually take him seriously. However I think he will give Theo a shot .... if anything else with Theo working with Billy Abbott it can only make Theo look better ?

Y&R based years’ worth of storylines on the Jack and Victor feud. Stealing/copying between the two occurred, in fact off the top of my head didn’t someone steal the others prrfume that could make you irresistable to a man. Had to have been Victor stealing from Jabot and then using it against Jack literally so Victor could put in his doppleganger. There were computer secrets stolen from computers, thinking of the security software that was going to make them rich. Corporate espionage was alive and well between the two companies. Victoria using Jack to set Ashley up was pretty low and underhanded. Jack throwing the chair out the window was pretty childish. So do people really think they would take Kyle and Theo in any other direction? Like I said can be hopeful but doubt it. And surely Billy won’t be a good influence on Theo. I was not liking Theo for a long while but now he’s growing on me. I just want him out of Kyle and Summer’ story. However, for some reason, the episode of Theo listening in on Lily and Billy’s business plans wasn’t positive to me, I took it as him stealing someone else’s ideas but I’m hoping it was just giving him a good lead for if he decides to apply for a job with them, he’ll be prepared to give them what they are looking for. Sadly IMO, I think he’s going to steal their idea and go present it to Jack saying he came up with this idea in hopes he could get back on Jack’s good side.Comment

Have to admit that is an interesting angle that hadn’t occurred to me.
It wouldn’t really be stealing. I worked in an office building that had a pharmaceutical company as tenants. On more than one occasion I was seated at a table nearby where employees from there were dining. It was quite an earful. Even heard them discussing how this new product was showing deaths. Later I heard from the office gossip in our company that employees there were instructed upon threat of firing to not discuss company business in public. Lily and Billy should have followed that advice.

I'm still #TeamTheo. If the Victor vs. Jack feud gave us the some of the best stories of Y&R's golden years, then I can only hope they can replicate a smidgen of that with Kyle vs. Theo. What would be really good is if they throw in Dina's will (gives all to Eric & his heirs) and the rest of the family take sides in the feud: Jack with Kyle; Ashley & Billy with Theo the "outsider and n'er do well" and Tracie neutral as always.Comment

I know Soapfan54 , but it seems than because it’s Theo we have to see has something very bad, and mean behind it ...,..., I don’t think Theo would want to go back at Jabot ,... I am sure it’s Jack who will want him back, when he will see he becomes successful on his own, and still find new use of him,.. I just hope than Theo would say thank you but not thank you ... -
Oh, I see. Theo overhearing CM's planning meeting is fate+right-place/right-time, imo. Theo did business w/Jabot, among other clients, while in New York--where he was quite successful. Kyle was the one who called him to GC. Ironically, Theo also aided/encouraged Summer in making herself successful in the position that SHE now holds at Jabot. Theo has skills!
IA in hoping that he never looks back at Jabot! -
I hope so. It’s something I saw coming, Theo working at CM since we heard Jill talking to Billy about this division ,... but I guess now we have just to wait and see, how it would unfold
.... and be very very patient ... ...

This just sounds tiresome and we don't even really know why Theo has it in for Kyle so bad. It was Theo who started this whole rivalry thing and I'm just done with it. Move Theo on and move Kyle and him out of each other's orbits, at least for awhile. Let Theo interact with others and find his own identity.Comment
