JMO but it is the fastest way to get up to speed on events being shown in Classic Episodes. I am so grateful to be seeing these wonderful episodes I will not tell CBS how to do it differently or improve on it because they just might take them off.

Brad started out as the Abbott pool boy/gardener and ended up marrying both Traci and Ashley and Victoria too.

I don't have time to read every bio, but... so Jill is really Katherine's daughter? Who is Brock and who was that girl he hugged, his daughter?

No, she is NOT!

Turns out that Jill's bio mom was a 16/17 year old HS girl who had a thing with the married Neil Fenmore!

That is how Jill ended up with a piece of Fenmore pie which later got dropped or 4gotten about.

IMO, the whole Jill is Katherine's daughter thing was a plot point 2 break up the Billy/mac marriage so that Billy character could move onto Chloe & be the baby daddy 2 Dee Dee.

I didn't watch that tape but Brock was the bio kid of Katherine with her first hubs & that girl shown is prolly Mac his daughter.

The s/l that introduced Mac was great......Brock didn' t even know he had a bio kid.

I think if I remember right he fathered her while doing charity work with the homeless.

To confuse you even more, the woman with the white hair who Katherine called "Elizabeth" was Liz Foster. Liz was Jill's mother until the writers rewrote history to make Jill adopted.

Just so you know they do a brief listing of important facts like marriages, children, etc up top before the bio. Of course it's easy to read a few bios as you watch an epi too.

Bill Bell, the creator, originally wrote Liz Foster (the white hair lady during today's or Tuesday's episode with Mrs. Chancellor intervention scenes) as Jill's mother and Jill had sibling or two brothers, I believe or if I remember correctly. Liz Foster, was working for Mrs. Chancellor, too, at the Chancellor mansion. I believe that's how Jill met Mrs. Chancellor's husband, Phillip Chancellor at the mansion when Jill most likely went with her mother, LIz Foster, and that's how she ran into Mr. Chancellor and they started an illicit relationship (given that he was a married man and Jill was a young woman and the man was older and should have known better) and thus the feuds over the years and the animosity between Jill and Mrs. Chancellor. The whole thing with Jill being Mrs. C. being mother and daughter was nonsense to me, a rewrite.

As I recall Jill was Katherine's manicurist and Katherine hired her to be a companion to watch her to keep her from drinking. I agree with xoregonian that it's easier to ask here if you just want a quick answer to know who someone is without reading all the long twisting history of a character plus it gives fans a chance to share memories, even flawed ones - lol!
