  • Wardrobe, sets, hair, makeup, music April 27/20

A brand new week--with classic episodes of Katherine Chancellor. I'm actually looking forward to seeing the hair, sets, makeup of the decades I did not watch.
My husband got me a tablet, which I have to tinker with today, since any new technological device gives me the horrors. No more waiting for my P.C. to be free!

The hair budget for just the men back then must have been astronomical!

Hey Rubythroat that’s great. You will love using it. I watch all my shows on my iPad and never thought I would do that. Figure it saves on electricity. And for you not having to share your computer will be the best.

I imagine the cake fight episode was not a lot of fun for hairdressers, although if they were smart they would have had both in wigs. But maybe those would be harder to clean instead of a good washing of the hair. As for Monday’s episode the style was definitely tease, tease, tease! Cassandra was stunning.

I spent the day trying to learn how to negotiate around the tablet--and felt like I was in kindergarten again. "Heat sensitive" --whhaat?

Did anyone else think Jack looked like Richard Chamberlain, when he was young? Those blue eyes, that full head of blonde hair.

I was thinking more Troy Donahue. I'd forgotten how truly handsome he was and still is.

I could see that. Both had that thin chiseled jaw line. I loved watching Chamberlain in those doctor shows.

Was that "Leanna Love" of the book about Victor called "Ruthless" ? OOh the Veronica Lake hairdoo!

I also noticed that Jack (PB) was minus his characteristic mannerisms, that we all know. " Baffled Look"...Quizzical Look....etc etc. But major gorgeous!

Wonder if the actor that played Murphey is around? Or Leanna Love? And the actor who played Katherine's son.
                  So handsome.

Catherine's son, Brock, was played by Beau Kazar. He passed away in December of 2014 at 63 years old.

                    Love, love Jill’s hair.

Ash, Chris, and Phyllis looked great too.

Daniel is adorable. He looks like a child of Phyllis and Danny (too bad Danny wasn’t his bio dad ) .

I must say Katherine looks fabulous for someone who is the subject of an intervention - perfect makeup, diamonds sparkling, and not a hair out of place. That flowing multi-pastel colored caftan is the perfect glamor touch. She was a true grande dame. (Still can't used to Jill calling her mother, though!)

Exactly what I was going to remark about how Kay looked fab and chic, even though she was a drunk. Poor Mack.
