Well this isn’t an unexpected move since Theo has proven that he can’t come up with his own ideas even and has to use Kyles own secretary to cheat his way to the top Maybe he can now go get a busboy job at Society he seems to spend his majority of his time there anyway hitting on Lola

But can Kyle come up with his own ideas? If he could, why does he need Summer to help him?

Well Kyle is Summers boss... was it stated by Jack that they couldn’t get help? I mean surely I don’t think that’s a big deal it’s not like they are stealing someone else’s idea and trying to play it off as their own like Theo is.

But why do I have the feeling Theo did not do what Summer and Kyle set him up for? The impressions on Theo‘s face today make me believe he suspects he is
      being set ip.

Kyle is co-CEO... so until Jack gives him full authority as CEO he needs just to take his pacifier , and finally do something as work with his own brain and not the one is sharing with his girlfriend...

it doesn’t matter at this point who fires Theo... he has more than earned it! Theo played himself lol... he thought he was being all smooth going behind Kyles back and using his assistant to sabotage him and in the end Theo just ends you sabotaging himself ... I guess the jokes on him lmao!!

I guess our missing information.. it’s Kyle become certainly full CEO and then his semi totalitarian state become full dictatorial state by Jack giving him full power, so he could do what he wants ...., so the moral to keep on this all long painful storyline of Theo getting a job at Jabot because jack didn’t want Ashley won Theo against him, .... don’t mess with a spoiled brat, he would get you one day ..., and bad Theo would leave like the leprechaun he always was ...

I am so tired of Kyle and Summer the two most spoiled brats on the soap with the exception of Victoria Nick and Abby Newman.

Theo is the only bright spot to the show considering he is the one who grew up poor and made his own way since he was only a teen. Kyle and Summer will bait him into it by causing him to question his own ability, and some are so happy to see him fall. He is the only true character on along with Lola.

Theo is bright and smart but has no one to turn to like Adam, and what is heart breaking is John would have made him feel like family and would have given him a safe place to come exactly like he would Kyle. John would forgive and help. These Abbott's are a car cry from the patriarch. Jack will never even resemble his father, because think of all the screw ups John forgave and Jack has forgiven. This will only go to show that he was never accepted and his father would not have been either.

I would love to see Theo stay and become the new Smiling Theo and teach that sanctimonious poser and his high mighty father by over throwing them both and owning Jabot. Jack allowing Kyle to become what he has would deserve to lose his father's legacy to Dina's grandson and thank his power son and his sl*** for it.

As much I think Jack would be disappointed by Theo cheating , I don’t think he would fire him... sadly he would certainly reward Kyle on the full CEO position or him demanding because he thinks than winning this assignment gives him that right, .. Jack would concede .. and then brat Kyle would fire Theo ..., I was hoping seeing Theo going to work at Chancellor media ... it would have been a nice blink to his grandfather memories and also ..what you’ll expect him knowing digital media could it be more his thing ..and letting sinking the sad boat that became Jabot with Kyle and summer behind him,...

shortcake2015 Kyle and Summer didn't have to bait Theo.
He has been using Kendra to spy for weeks.

Kyle and Summer most certainly did not bait Theo he asked Kyle's assistant to find out what they were doing and Summer caught on that she was trying to see their pitch. This is all on the snake Theo .

I really hate how they are destroying Lola and Theo for the likes of Kyle and Summer but it just makes me hate Kyle and Summer more. First Lola has to lose her husband and now Theo is written to steal so Kyle can fire him. So now I guess we’ll be subjected to the happy couple every day, It will definitely be boring.

And if Jack has any sense he'll fire Kyle and Summer for setting him up. Yeah, he took the bait but setting the trap shows Kyle never intended to obey Jack when he said to lay off Theo. Why is Summer in this at all? Jack said the projects are to be done individually yet Summer has been helping Kyle from day one.

I didn't say it was a plan. I said he was told to leave Theo alone and he didn't. Jack said it was to be an individual project individual meaning one, single, alone. Not a group project. Kyle is cheating by getting help from Summer but like I've said nothing he and Summer do wrong is reprimanded. It's always Theo or Lola who suffers.

'Individual' is not the word Jack used. He said they had seven days to come up with an idea for re-branding. I watched it again because I needed clarification on what he said about Ashley for another topic on this board.
On this, we agree to disagree.
Kyle shouldn't have to let Theo spoon feed him garbage either. If Theo is suffering, it's because of something he did himself. I'm not sure where Lola comes into play here.

I’m with you Soapquest. Kyle was cheating. I don’t remember Jack saying there could be teams. Kyle right away goes to his once believed sister/wife/mistress and has her all up in the challenge.
Theos helper was so obviously not capable of being slick that even Summer could tell something was wrong (while Kyle, co CEO, didn’t even notice!)
The writing is now to make Summer and Kyle look like a power couple. ?????? It’s backfiring, they are very boring!

I hate to see the underdog continuously getting kicked while the snotty spoiled entitled brats are always being rewarded. Theo has no one to turn to, because essentially he is in this world alone. By the time he was 18 he was an orphan making his own way and surviving. He didn't have daddy or rich grand pa to run to to give him a cushy job or money or make him CEO of his family's company. Theo worked hard and achieved his success in his own which Kyle and Summer would know nothing about.

How many times can Theo be told he doesn't belong and can'\t do the job until he believes it without someone to run to who can counteract it. Theo doesn't trust himself or believe in himself enough to think his ideas are worthy and can win;afterall, Jack is Kyle's father and Theo is a nephew he only tolerates.

Theo's arrogance and bravado only cover his fears and lack of confidence. Summer and Kyle are successful at Jabot like Nick was at Newman and Victoria. It was family owned. They have not achieved it on their own.

I like the character Theo and hope he is written to take down Summer and Kyle and Jack and Jabot once and for all and leave them whining and crying in the gutter where they all belong.

I wish Theo would have bowed out and looked for a new gig. He never stood a chance. His supervisor Summer used to be his bed buddy, now she is his boss? Very unprofessional. I wish Billy had stuck around to take on the “kids table” which is what Summer and Kyle are.

And what on earth would they deserve? Theo is not a victim. I don't mind his character, but he's still an ass who's far too obsessed with Kyle. Who cares if he didn't grow up rich? Most people didn't. Kyle and Summer shouldn't feel bad for growing up with wealth. They still have to prove themselves b/c simply being a member of the family doesn't mean automatic success. They've been in the business world for years now. We've seen it onscreen.

Don't stand in judgement of someone when you have been proven to be no better. Kyle was given more than one second chance after a screwup and so has Sumner. Why are they so much better than Theo?

Didn't Kyle come in to GC being mentored by Victor to overthrow Jack at Jabot? He was given a second chance and named CEO more than once.

Why doesn't Theo deserve the same courtesy?

Jack was Kyle's father. Kyle is only Theo's cousin.

      • #11
Maybe Theo can make a pitch to Lily and Billy? LOL. Maybe something Jack didn’t once write.

        Nobody looks too good here.
Whether Kyle can fire Theo or not... It’s time Jack steps in and breaks up the children on the playground. It’s been Romper Room at Jabot for too long now.

Summer lol... laying in Theo's bed until Kyle came back around, now she can't stand Theo? Some women just make you shake your head. haha

Summer just seems so smug, I really can't stand her with this much power she clearly didn't deserve.

Like I said before, there was nobody likeable in this storyline. Jack should have fired all 3. And that should have happened prior to this silly competition Jack cooked up which was stupid to begin with. A good twist would have been if Jack fired all 3 and named Adam Co CEO instead of the writers having Adam take over Newman.

Now that would have been a setting for good drama on multiple fronts with Adam heading Jabot. Far more creative than the dueling millenials. none of which have genuine rooting value.
