I can't decide if Theo is really interested in Lola. I know he's saying the right things, but I also know he's a player who's charming and there may be nothing deeper. And I know that he's still wanting to stick it to Kyle. Having once fallen for a player myself (long, long ago when I was young and trusting), I'm urging Lola to be cautious.

I think Theo's whole reason in getting involved with Lola is to get back at Kyle he wants everything Kyle has he is so jealous of him it has become an obsession.Comment

No I honestly think the way it’s been shown that Theo is after Kyles job and I wouldn’t put it past that snake to manufacture “ evidence “ to try to make Kyle look bad. I don’t think for a second he’ll get away with it for too long but maybe by the time Theo is exposed, Lola would have fallen for him and she’ll once again be hurt by a guy she cares for ... who knows but that’s the way the storyline seems to be going to me. I’ll never forget the one scene after Kyle and Lola ended their marriage when Theo was back at Jabot in Kyles office alone and sitting in his chair at his desk with a smirk on his face... that to me said what his true intentions are and if I’m not mistaken he also picked up a picture of Lola and Kyle and stared at it as well -
For some reason when reading about the office scene you wrote I had a flash back of I think Jack sitting in his chair with a smirk or smile after I think he got some move over Victor. Or maybe it was Jack looking down at Victor laying on the office floor after Victor had a heart attack and asked Jack for help but Jack looked at him and walked out.

Theo can't help himself. Ruining Kyle has become a mantra for him. He's driven. I think he has a childish "Mommy" thing going on with Lola, otherwise this selfish and ambitious
guy would never put up with her unwillingness to get in the sack with him.Comment

I’m thinking he is motivated to follow Jack’s advice in taking it slow with Lola; and he would very much like to be together with her. He’s always been a flirt and with her it’s been more natural and friendly than when he’s flirted with other women on the show. He does come across so likable at times but then you don’t know how to interpret his expression and what’s going on in his head then at other moments. Keeps you guessing.
I do wonder if the NYC trip (if we we ever get to see it) will somehow illuminate something about him and Kyle.

This is silly. We know how this will play out. Lola and Theo head out to NYC. Lola succumbs to Theos desires and has sex. Then Theos master plan will be exposed leaving Lola devastated and Kyle will be there to rescue.
Best case scenario, Theo and Lola fly to NYC and are permanently quarantined there. JMOComment

I honestly don't know.
I wanted to believe he is sincere because he and Lola truly have chemistry,
but lately, the more I see, the more I believe Theo is a rat.
He may like Lola, but as it was pointed out above, he probably hates Kyle more.Comment

His hate for Kyle runs deeper than any feelings he may have for Lola... does he like her? Sure but I don’t think that means he’s not above using her to get to Kyle in whatever way he can. Sadly the only thing he seems to be genuine about is his hate and jealousy for Kyle and all Kyle has that he doesn’t
He’s become so one note and predictable.

There is no doubt that Theo is beyond jealous of Kyle. I think he feels everything comes to Kyle too easily. Once Summer moves in with Kyle or they get a place together his reaction (that’s if Skyle is not already still married) will show if he is really being genuine with Lola.Last edited by mer; March 30, 2020, 06:56 PM.Comment

IMO Theo only wants to prove he is as good as Kyle and want everything Kyle has had. He need to find a life of his own and get off of Kyle's foot steps trying to walk in his shoes.Comment

I think he is being genuine...however, I would've thought that TPTB would have hooked him up with more of a legacy character. I mean they made him Dina's grandson, but IMO we still don't have a lot invested in him...so in the interest of "staying power" for the character I would've thought that someone more rooted in GC could've made more sense. Lola is Rey's sister, but really all they have in GC is each other. A lot of people like Lola, but a lot of fans don't...so I guess I'm just surprised that they didn't choose Abby, Mariah or someone else for his love interest. JMHO of course.Comment

I think many people like Lola. Forums can be deceptive because some people post often. On social media Lola is a loved character. Both actors SC and TJ have primetime potential, so that's more of a worry. Their chemistry is explosive. Most comments on social media are shocked at how much they find themselves rooting for them. I say lets watch it play out and enjoy. You know no couple ever really lasts on daytime anyway... Lol
