CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

Too Many Stories / Not Enough Endings

Right now there are way too many individual stories going on....
    • Adam/Alyssa and what happened in Kansas
    • What's going on with Victoria
    • Adam and Chance and Vegas
    • Sharon's Cancer
    • Mariah and Tessa breakup and makeup
    • Billy/Lily and Chancellor Media
    • Dina's failing condition
    • Abby, Chance, Phyllis and the safety deposit box
    • Lola and Theo
    • Summer and Kyle
    • Nick and Phyllis
    • Adam and Chelsea
    • Jill/Colin/Devon money laundering through Chancellor Industries
    • Amanda's background
It feels like nothing, no one story, is getting that much attention....and everyone is all over the place.....and certain stories seem to be dropped very quickly.....with no ending.

I feel as though it would be easier if the writers found a way to pull certain things together....like the Kansas secret has something to do with the Vegas secret (both involve Adam). Like Billy and Lily uncover more than just the money laundering and are held captive over it.....it just seems like everything is really scattered right now and there are few cohesive plot lines going on.....

Am I the only one who thinks this?

It's like let's throw something against the wall & see if it sticks. I feel the same way as you.

I feel like its a bunch of baboons throwing crap against the wall, while they are picking bugs off their backs and eating them.

Actually, THAT would be more entertaining.

I like multiple story lines, it's the execution and plot lines that are the problem.

I agree. I have no problem with multiple story lines. But yeah, they're introduced but then the writers just don't seem to be able to know what to do once they're introduced

Josh Griffiths doesn’t know story execution or climax.

His Billy Split Personality storyline was a total waste of a good idea. There was no huge payoff... I wasn’t sure if ended and then started up again... or what... and then it was dropped. Maybe I missed an episode that showcased the big payoff.

When Bell was in charge... things dragged out but you felt the momentum build and you got a huge payoff.

one storyline that should wrap up... Tessa... have her drive into Lake Michigan and move on to Dina and better stuff.

Was there ever a resolution to the murder in the cabin? I can't remember one.

So agree with Guidinglite its like a barrel of monkey's and sometimes we are left just hanging for at least one ending.
Phyllis, Billy, Amanda, Victoria and on and on like the post said. The jumping back and forth.

I agree. I've been watching Y & R since the 80's, and the writing has always been better than this. Is anything that interesting? Devon losing his inheritance was kind of interesting, then it was just returned to him one day - end of story. What is interesting now? Nick & Phyllis? Who cares. About Sharon's cancer - she has a tumor located in a breast and the cancer has not spread - the most curable of the cancers! My mother had that. They just removed the tumor, along with removing her breast - they did it quickly and she was fine. In Sharon's case, why all the chemotherapy and all the weeping and wailing? Is her cancer more involved than my mother's? If so, they haven't explained it. Mariah and Tessa? Ok- that was kind of cute, and brought to a nice conclusion - give credit where it's due. Amanda's problem with her ex - that was interesting. But what is wrong with Victoria? Nothing that seems to spark that much interest.
Ok - I still turn the show on every day - there is enough there to keep me doing that. But it's sure not like it used to be.
